They remind us that the Church isn’t only about what happens on a Sunday morning. Cafe ministry can be a place that brings people together when walking through the doors of a ‘church’ feels like too big a step. A place where people can encounter Jesus right in the middle of everyday life.
We hope you are inspired as we hear from baristas, pastors and volunteers as they bring a ministry of presence, care, a listening ear, great coffee and the love of Christ to the people around them.
Today, we’re listening to:
Hannah Clarkson, Hannah is from Perth Scotland, and is currently serving as a youth-focused missionary in the Republic of Ireland.
As part of her ministry, Hannah works at a youth drop-in space called The Greystones Youth Café. It’s a free and welcoming place where young people can come along, meet up with friends, and make new ones.
The team at the Youth Café provides hot chocolates and sandwiches for the young people to enjoy, while also spending time playing games, chatting, and building meaningful relationships with them.

What does it really mean to live a holy life? Lees meer
Welcome to the Eurasia Region Podcast,
What does it truly mean to live a holy life? Is holiness simply about avoiding sin, or is it something that transforms the way we love, serve, and engage with the world around us?
In this episode, David Gilmour sits down with Fili Chambo (the Eurasia Region General Superintendent in Jurisdiction) to explore his new book, ‘For the Sake of the World’.
Together, they discuss a vision of holiness that goes far beyond personal devotion—a holiness empowered by the Holy Spirit, lived out in community, and expressed through compassion, justice, and faithful service.
Along the way, Dr. Chambo also reflects on his journey in ministry, sharing stories from decades of serving the global church, his time in the Eurasia Region, and his experience as a General Superintendent.
Whether you've already picked up the book or are simply curious about what it means to live a life that reflects Christ in today's world, this conversation will encourage and challenge you.
Let's join David Gilmour and Fili Chambo.
