Wish You Were Here follows Diana, a type-a art specialist who has her entire life planned out. She has been planning her dream trip to the Galapagos with her surgeon boyfriend. In March 2020, on the eve of their trip, New York City is bracing for the arrival of coronavirus. Her boyfriend can't take off work but encourages Diana to go alone. Except, when she gets there, she finds out that the island is closing for a 2-week quarantine. Diana makes an impulsive decision to stay, and her time on the island has her reevaluating her whole life back in New York.

Ghosts follows Nina Dean, a London woman in her early thirties with a successful career as a food writer and loving friends and family. When she downloads a dating app, she meets a great guy on her first date. When Max tells Nina he's going to marry her on date one, it feels like all is going to plan.
