Don is very happy he listened to Toto and hid when a tree comes crashing down next to them. Don leaves and Toto hurries back to his father and brother with the bark that he found. After a while the tree falls and they take it to the dam. Toto goes out to search for more bark and runs into the men that Don was looking for.

This story is about a young Beaver who has gone out to play. Toto has eaten and is tired of being cooped up at home so he asked his mom if he can go out to play and she said yes. After some time Toto’s mom is calling for him to come home but she cannot see him and he cannot hear her. Toto has gone down the frozen river to see what he can do. He sees a bush that looks good to eat so he heads over to it and takes a bite but as soon as he has taken his first bite he feels like he has been bit. Toto then looks and sees it is a blackberry bush and the thorns have hurt him. He gets ready to back out from under the bush when he hears some sounds. He has heard these sounds before. He peeks out from under the bush and sees a little girl with something shiny on one foot. She seems to be looking for something. When Toto looks around he sees another shiny thing right beside him under the bush. Is she going to come over and get it? Will she see him?

Some friendships are found in the strangest of places. But no matter how different we are, we can be brought together through fate. When the Witchetty Grub discovers the witch casting spells onto the city he senses she simply needs a friend that cares about her and decides to look after her. He washes her face and hair, jumps on her warts, cleans her teeth and sews up her clothes! The witch adopts a new sense of calm and starts to appreciate the value of having a good friend in her life which stops her casting spells down onto the city. Isn't it remarkable what a new friend can do? Just one thing! Watch out for the cat!!!
