Phase Two arrives tomorrow and it wouldn't be a launch without a developer interview, so listen in as Countdown chats with Classic devs Tim Jones and Josh Greenfield about what's coming our way. After that, we finally publish two amazing conversations that circumstances have (grossly) delayed, as Jimmy from The Fantasy Nuttwork & Allen from The Library of Allenxandria stop by to discuss story telling in gaming, and then, with the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 right around the corner, we hear from game composer Will Roget and music academic Ryan Thompson all about the magic of the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack. We got the first of what is supposed to be weekly class tuning changes with Season of Discovery, so we gathered the crew to discuss all the buffs and nerfs, covering not only classes, but also Ashenvale and BFD. Also, we sound off on the topic that has been hot on the lips of the subreddit, gold buying, as the community has started to loudly voice their displeasure with the early presence of bots and bought gold, and shame those who engage in it. Token, Token, Pass
7 juni 2023 · 4 uur 25 min
North, Hunk, Cleavis, Tokens, Warriors, SoM2, this episode has it all! The discussion surrounding the token warranted a bit more exploration and so here's another two hours on it on top of the two you got last week (*obsessed much?*). Listen in to the blossoming bromance that is North and Hunk (Horth? Nunk?) as the guys zero in on the token, what is pay to win in 2023 and the dream that is an instance-less BRD. After that, Cleavis joins the show to provide more dulcet tones from north of the border, chatting Blizzcon, the token, Wrath, the community council, and what could potentially be done, if anything, to Warriors in SoM2.
