  1. SALON: A Franciscan friar sharpens his quill

The USA is parading its incontinence, pissing everywhere. In the rest of the world, outsiders study the puddles and taste the piss. An example is Iran. We will start this talk with a short segment on Iranian propaganda, but we will talk mainly about something coming from the Vatican. Lees meer

Franciscan friar Paolo Benanti, a Vatican advisor on AI, has written an article fantasising about burning Peter Thiel alive to protect democracy. You see, he is happy. Finally he feels his theology is useful.

From our cheerful and untouched bubble, we assess his attack, and agree that the Church is wasting its time, so long as it neglects what is within its reach: art spectacle and imagination. In other words, Rome should return to the business of Counter-Reformation.

George Soros is usually discussed in the language of conspiracy or moral piety. But to understand someone it does actually make sense to listen to what they have to say. A beyond good and evil look at this impressive man. Join us for a mini voyage into the world of Soros.

KIRAC makes art films released as Episodes. In our Salons we test ideas that later become Episodes. Our discussion of Soros is part of a series on the future of art beyond the post-war order.

"The vices of women talked about freely."

A book about a functioning society because everybody's always needing something from someone else. The masters need the slaves to bring the food from the land. The woman needs the slaves to have sex with. The master needs the sixteen-year-old beautiful girl to prance with, to feel young. And so everything clasps in each other in this sort of deeply unholy orgy of people.

“I would probably not have recognized Shakespeare,” says Tyler Cowen, who runs an experimental art fund on billionaire tech money. He calls this realisation humbling, then does nothing about it. A crucial problem in his practice. If he can’t recognise great art, what’s the point of running the fund? A fund that claims to be searching for new aesthetics and the new great art. Lees meer

Together with Patrick Collison, the founder of Stripe, Tyler has recently announced a call and financial reward for artists and architects to propose a new aesthetics. In this talk we also propose to Patrick and Tyler an adequate way of converting money into great art.

You should watch. Patrick and Tyler should watch as well. If anyone has a direct line to them, please forward it to them.

    Sepeli Saeculum!

“Well, you could say you want to make it the most masculine century, because that is what the females would like.”

This conversation starts in Los Angeles where Isa, surrounded by artists and technologists, get's a Nietzsche tramp stamp, to celebrate her dedication to art and philosophy.

We meditate on a few things: - The 21st century is going to be a great century for women.- Techné returns. The ancient Greek unity of art and technology, broken apart by the Enlightenment, comes back.- Alex Karp (CEO of Palantir) sees himself as the bridge, applying the post Holocaust dialectics he studied under Jürgen Habermas to the machinery of the U.S. military. Karp views the creation of advanced software as an artistic endeavor that captures the zeitgeist decades before it is understood. His “Technological Republic” seeks to provide a preferable method of improving the world through capitalistic, self regulating principles rather than top down political solutions.

Other tags and topics: Michel Houellebecq, Peter Thiel, Nick Fuentes, JD Vance, Trump, Frankfurt School, liberalism, atomisation, dialectics, AI kill chains, Rumble platform, Nick Land, Bari Weiss, future of art, Stefan Ruitenbeek, Kate Sinha.

  6. Holy Lies and the Normal Elite: Tom Holland, Bari Weiss & UATX

    29 november 2025 · 30 min

Kate and Stefan ask themselves what their radical ideas for the future of high culture and art (read about it here, or watch all the films) would mean for other people who are currently competing to replace the crumbling liberal elite, not just in strictly fine art and film domains but also in the domains of journalism, history, academia. Lees meer

People with aspirations to replace the New York Times (Bari Weiss and her Free Press), or to find new, fresh ways of looking at our Judeo Christian culture (historian Tom Holland), or with aspirations to start a new university without the decadence that current elite universities are suffering from (the University of Austin, entrepreneur Joe Lonsdale).

A lot of people are competing to fill the vacuum in a meaningful way, we identify a core problem with our contenders: their fundamental approach is still rooted in twentieth century thinking (which is in itself logical) but they are not rigorous in their thinking about that, they are still in love with the twentieth century, and don’t want to let go of its holy lies. In a way we say they are not deep and radical enough. But we don’t propose some idiotic amputational solution, ennobling portraiture (read about it here) is a way to reflect on your holy lies without having to diametrically oppose them.

Vibrating between total indifference and fear, the KIRAC people try to understand this new version of American Antisemitism, the latest version after religious and German Antisemitism. Nick Fuentes is its star. Lees meer

Nick Fuentes turns America First into a new antisemitism, using a Luther style revolt against universalism. Kate and Stefan connect his rhetoric to Kant’s categorical imperative, the Declaration of Independence, Hannah Arendt’s The Jew as Pariah: A Hidden Tradition, female resentment from the Victorian age and the collapse of imagination in liberal democracy.

Crisis of Passion – We talk about art, weirdness, and the crisis of passion. The Bronze Age Pervert talks about the Christian takeover of Trump’s movement. These Christians blame postmodern culture and memes for Charlie Kirk’s murder. We talk about how pointing at postmodernism and irony becomes a veiled form of censorship, and how there is artistic opportunity in the reconciliation of Christians with the rotting corpse, the stink, the body on the cross. We talk about Mel Gibson, Brechtian theater, the Counter-Reformation, and Bernini’s Theresia trembling in delicious pain. Lees meer

A conversation on authenticity in the Liberal vs Christian debate amongst prominent Politicians, Pundits, and Philosophers, some of whom display signs of shame for their evident lack of authenticity, while others can do without it altogether, and in doing so inform a different understanding of the very concept itself.

The film (KIRAC episode 27 and 29) is coming soon. In the meantime, I’ll try to post updates once every two weeks tied loosely to our process, to make you part of the machine we’re building.

We’ve received interesting responses to our talk on the billionaires’ metaphysical quest and have already recorded the next release exploring it further.
