Westwood Ho!
3 november 2026 · 1 uur 55 min
Perhaps we should have separated it into two episodes rather than one the length of Ben Hur, but this week - as well as the usual golf news and general inanities - Andrew, Eddie and Iain are joined by Lee Westwood to talk about life and Liv. Once he has gone, talk turns to how best to split logs and what is the quickest route from Oxford to Worksop. We know it is a very long episode. Lees meer

Genesis and Exodus
27 oktober 2026 · 1 uur 17 min
This week the trio are in reflective mood after an Eddie-less Korean climax to the regular DP World Tour schedule, which saw him slip to 101st in the rankings and miss out on a full card for next season. The man himself has no regrets about not playing and is full of praise for Sean Crocker, whose stunning back nine of 29 on Sunday moved him above Eddie into the magical 100th position. There is plenty of discussion about Eddie's ambitions and his next moves, which don't include a trip to Q-School but do include the possibility of a final round pairing with Charles Howell III in Mauritius. LIV desertions feature in the conversation, as well as a curious bonus payments for the CEO. Meanwhile Iain considers who is worthy of a place in the World Golf Hall of Fame and Eddie comes up with a cautionary tale of why video might not be good for the podcast. Lees meer

The Korea Conundrum
20 oktober 2026 · 1 uur 30 min
In a bafflingly long pod episode featuring just two people, Andrew and Iain convene to pick over the bones of Eddie's efforts in India, which contained all the highs and lows of his season just as it came to an end. They debate his decision not to play in Korea, even though it almost certainly means missing out a full Tour card. There is also debate about large trousers, the responsibility of the games big stars to travel the world, and which is a bigger waste of money: LIV golf or the Butterfield Championship? Lees meer

Hope Springs Eddernal
13 oktober 2026 · 1 uur 17 min
This week Eddie joins Andrew and Iain in the midst of his packing for an unexpected trip to India, as his season continues and with it his chance of earning a full card for next season. The three review the Open De Espana, where Eddie fought for every precious point and Grant Forrest saved his season with a dramatic victory. Lees meer
Eddie talks openly about the pressure he is feeling as well as what he is having to do to get his injured body through the test.
There is also mention of the bright young talent of Michael Brennan after his third PGA Tour victory, as well as the even younger talent of Blades Brown. There is also time for a discussion on the new tactics of the DP World Tour, getting tougher with LIV, as well as consideration of the important question: 'if Eddie were a football team, which one would he be?'

101 Not Out
6 oktober 2026 · 1 uur 14 min
Disclaimer - Eddie is still full of drugs. However, he is lucid enough to recall and review his performance at the Alfred Dunhill Links where he battled to make the cut but still slipped just outside the crucial top-100 in the rankings. Yet dramatic news reaches us that he has been offered a place in the Spanish Open this week. Just before packing he, Iain and Andrew are able to reflect on Adrian Meronk's win in St Andrews as well as a remarkable performance by Michael Stewart. They also discuss Tom Kim's military avoiding win at the Asian Games, talk a bit about daylight savings time and Iain mentions a trip to Cornwall. Lees meer

Presidents, Pain Killers and The Ghost Ship of Golf.
29 september 2026 · 1 uur 12 min
Three men in three countries and plenty of rambling this week as Andrew, Eddie and Iain convene to discuss events at the Presidents Cup, where the USA won by their now habitual method of storming the singles. They look back on the French Open where Matt Fitzpatrick continued his impressive year and Eddie gives us an update on his injury, preparing for one of his favourite events of the year as the clock ticks on his season. Lees meer
Andrew then decides to tell a story of intrigue, oil money and the SAS - all wrapped up in a golf course where nobody but Henrik Stenson occasionally plays.

Spaun Doolicks and Manuel Labour
22 september 2026 · 1 uur 21 min
A two-ball this week as Andrew is forced to miss the tee-time, so there is far less ramble and much more weighty chat from Eddie and Iain as they look back on a dramatic finish to the BMW PGA at Wentworth. JJ Spaun took the title and firmly made his point to Brandt Snedeker after omission from the USA side, while Manuel Elvira emphatically made the point that pressure can make you look like a bit of a tool in golf. Eddie is able to offer an update on his own golfing status as he battles a neck problem and also a problem with late-night tweeting while taking medical-grade painkillers, but then doubles down as we discover what Bryson's homecoming actually means. Solheim, Shane and Pain
15 september 2026 · 1 uur 15 min
The trio gather this week in something of a torpor, induced either by long waking hours or by tranquilisers. There is an update on Eddie's withdrawal from the Irish Open and subsequent treatment, before the mood is lightened by reflections on Europe's victory in the Solheim Cup. There is also discussion of the two different sides of Shane Lowry on display as he romped to a record win at Doonbeg. To give some much needed energy to proceedings, Iain tells a story about a queue. Lees meer

The Walker Cup of Earthly Delights
8 september 2026 · 1 uur 19 min
Well, what a Walker Cup that was. Andrew and Iain have made their respective early flights back from the south-west of Ireland and join Eddie to discuss one of the most dramatic events, not just in golf or indeed sport, but in the history of human kind. We hope that does it justice. There is obvious praise for the GB & I side and discussion of who might have the most success in the professional game. Speaking of which, we also review events in the Alps where Thriston Lawrence showed that there actually is something better than a fit PC as he took down Paul Casey on the fourth extra-hole. Eddie gives us his thoughts on his own form as he looks forward to a meeting with the Don at the Irish Open and Andrew and Iain look forward to a trip to The Netherlands for the Solheim Cup. Bosch... The Fast and The Curious
1 september 2026 · 1 uur 23 min
A slightly delayed episode with Eddie making his way to the mountains and Iain having a similarly difficult journey to a car hire depot. But it has given all three extra time to reflect on The British Masters at The Belfry, where Eddie grafted his way through four rounds and Joe Dean earned his maiden Tour win in style. Further reflections are offered on Scottie Scheffler's dominance at the Tour Championship and musings on whether Viktor Hovland might just be too curious about the world to reach the very highest level in the game. There's other stuff as well, but we're just keen to get it published as soon as possible. Lees meer

Bagels and Rocky Road
25 augustus 2026 · 1 uur 25 min
This week, the usual trio are spiced up by a bit of Andy Murray who tells us tales of his actual hole-in-one which absolutely definitely did happen. The tennis guy also offers sage advice for Eddie after walking off the course and his subsequent decision to take on a coach. There's a review of the Nexo Championship where Scott Jamieson took the title and Shaun Norris was victim of the ruling that few people had heard of. Meanwhile Wyndham Clark demonstrated again why he's a rival to Scheffler for player of the season and Rory showed us a return to form. Finally, if not dead, LIV golf is certainly quite unwell and the three have their say on where things could and should go from here as well as wondering if they should make friends with automated mowers as a way of ensuring decent treatment by our robotic overlords in the not too distant future. The Death of Realised Dreams
18 augustus 2026 · 1 uur 14 min
This week Eddie reveals the tale behind his missed cut in Denmark, struggling with illness but still finding something to give him encouragement moving forward. There is quite the achievement at the US Amateur to discuss as Jack Whaley provides a rare British win, while Scottie Scheffler ends his drought with a flood of birdies in Memphis. At the same tournament Rory McIlroy's form gives him cause for concern and we prepare ourselves for the dream pro-am line-up in Aberdeen. Lees meer

Play-offs, Pranks and Picks
4 augustus 2026 · 1 uur 8 min
Andrew is still hunting for a wayward drive somewhere, so Iain and Eddie once again hold the fort and bid farewell to major golf for the year with a round-up of The AIG Women's Open. There's plenty of discussion of the dramatic finish as Esther Henseleit holed a monster putt to take it into a play-off, then saw a cruel human ricochet end her hopes with Shiho Kuwaki keeping the title in Japanese hands. There are reflections on the performances of Lottie Woad and Charley Hull, while offering thoughts on Charley's caddy prank, before both Eddie and Iain then realise they are in no position to criticise. Lees meer
There is then discussion of the Solheim Cup as Europe's captain Anna Nordqvist finalises her team, a review of The Rocket Classic on the PGA Tour as another young gun gets firing and Eddie contemplates his own return to competitive golf.

Jacksons, Majors and Apologies.
28 juli 2026 · 1 uur 6 min
With Andrew taking a break the two-ball of Eddie and Iain tackle all of golf’s biggest talking points: the state of Project Badger, the PGA Tour’s newest superstar and why the Korean winner of the women’s Scottish Open speaks with an Aussie accent. DeChambeau Drama
18 juli 2026 · 39 min
He might not lead The Open Championship at halfway but all the headlines at Birkdale are being made by Bryson DeChambeau, who finished his second round in second place but was then handed a two-shot penalty for improving his lie on the 5th hole. Andrew and Eddie discuss it all while Iain digs around for further news then joins the chat. Quite apart from all that, it was a day of extraordinary golf with 62s being handed in by leader Lucas Herbert and American Sam Burns. Even bigger names are not too far away with Scheffler, Cam Young and Tommy Fleetwood, but the question remains: Will Bryson play? And will Donald Trump put in a call to have it overturned? Lees meer

The Greatest Week in Golf
13 juli 2026 · 1 uur 18 min
It's only in publishing this episode that we have noticed this is episode 200 of TCF. It is a) remarkable that it has lasted this long and b) it seems appropriate that this milestone marks the start of Open Championship week. Iain is at Birkdale with Andrew about to arrive and Eddie is in between trips to the local farm shop, so all of them gather to reflect on the Scottish Open, the Evian Championship and even the Isco - God bless it - before turning their attention to The Open itself. No Sir, I Can't Bogey.
30 juni 2026 · 1 uur 14 min
An early Monday recording with Wimbledon duties for Andrew and Iain, while Eddie is still in the north of Italy, reflecting on an impressive effort in Turin where his 11th place contained a bogey-free run of 56 holes. There is discussion of the Travelers Championship - at the time of recording still to be settled between Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland (spoiler alert: Hovland wins), a first-time winner of a major at the Women's PGA Championship and uninformed debate about what kind of dog Rory McIlroy would be. Iron Man Returns
5 mei 2026 · 1 uur 13 min
With Andrew applying the finishing touches to his bumper colouring-in book, Eddie assumes the presenter’s seat buoyed by an encouraging return to action in Turkey. Iain (aka 'The Badger') is also happy with signs that show his golf isn’t quite as hapless as he feared. But the conversation is dominated by events on and off the course at the top of the game. They discuss a slow play penalty at the Turkish Open where there was a heartwarming winner, although we’re not sure whether it happened in Asia or Europe. Eddie and Iain also consider a dominant but dull win for Cameron Young and an equally emphatic win for Nelly Korda, while also getting into the possible demise of LIV Golf. They then round things off with Iain turning film critic and Eddie exclusively revealing that he doesn't know how to pack properly, or indeed stay around for a made cut. Lees meer

Andrew and Iain join up at the end of round three to discuss Rory's struggles, the rise of Cam Young, the return of Scottie Scheffler and the dream that will not die for Justin Rose. We hear from McIlroy, Rose and Shane Lowry after his hole-in-one and look forward to what might be one of the greatest ever final rounds at Augusta. Lees meer

11 april 2026 · 38 min
What a story developing at The Masters as Rory McIlroy opens the largest ever lead after 36 holes (confirmed by actual people). So exciting is it, that Eddie decides to fight off the warm, welcoming arms of Morpheus to join Andrew and discuss matters, with Iain joining after his commentary duties. That will do for a description. It's all in the pod... Lees meer

Masters THURSDAY - The Defence Rests
10 april 2026 · 29 min
The Masters is underway and we're now wondering if Rory can follow Jack, Nick and Tiger in keeping hold of the Green Jacket. Andrew and Iain come together with a short recap of the first round where not only did Rory impress, but so many big names are off to good starts, including World Number One Scottie Scheffler. Meanwhile as predicted by both Andrew and Iain, Jose-Maria Olazabal took Aldrich Potgeiter to short-game school. And then beat him up in the playground and stole his lunch. Lees meer

Faldo's Free Hat.
7 april 2026 · 1 uur 6 min
Masters week is here and Andrew and Iain are there. Eddie's not in Augusta, but he joins from Pepperell Towers to look ahead to what is always one of the greatest weeks in golf. The three of them cast their keen eyes over the main contenders, while also looking back at events of the weekend, as JJ Spaun once more denied Bob McIntyre, while Matt Wallace went close. Iain also tells us how a multiple major champion ruined his Chinese takeaway, Andrew recounts a day of pointless flights and Eddie announces that he is going to try practising at golf. Lees meer

History Repeating
31 maart 2026 · 1 uur 10 min
This week our three-ball get together and chat about a significant win on the DP World Tour where Alex Fitzpatrick survived the madness of DLF to complete a Fitz family double, while Gary Woodland was an emotional winner on the PGA Tour. Lees meer
There is also plenty of discussion of another troubling incident for Tiger Woods, Iain talks about his tumbling handicap, Eddie takes a trip around a storm-lashed East Lothian and Andrew quotes Hull's most famous librarian.

Not Tsen Percent
24 maart 2026 · 1 uur 34 min
An episode which is frankly too long, but you are of course free to split it in two, or stop listening whenever you have had enough. BUT, stick around if you want a slightly drunk Eddie after one glass of champagne to mark another top-ten finish, in Hainan, where he was steered around by an ever-smiling man called Tsen. That's as much as we know, really. Eddie gives the inside track on equipment changes and another impressive performance to take him into an enforced break as well as an enforced holiday until he can find a reasonable flight home. Or until he can get his bank card to work. Lees meer
Once Eddie has left / fallen asleep, Iain joins to chat about all the other golf taking place recently - Matt Fitzpatrick bouncing back to win on the PGA Tour, Bryson Dechambeau going head to head with Jon Rahm in a raucous LIV South Africa and Iain himself playing some mixed foursomes. There is also discussion of the DP World Tour brain drain and the possibility of a Ryder Cup without Rahm. Tsen-sational.

Half a World Away
17 maart 2026 · 1 uur 10 min
In this episode we find our intrepid trio separated by 9000 miles and twelve hours of time-zones with Iain in Florida, Andrew in the UK and Eddie in Hainan, having earned a late place in next week's tour event. By the wonders of technology they are all able to discuss a dramatic finish at The Players Championship where Cameron Young took the title and Matt Fitzpatrick came up just short. The three talk about the unconventional rise of Sudarshan Yellamaraju, wonder if they should be concerned about Scottie Scheffler and ask the crucial question 'Will Eddie say a word to his caddy this week?' There's also a new golfing goal for Iain and a history lesson on a 19th century Republican Senator, whether you want it or not. Lees meer

11 maart 2026 · 49 min
A bonus episode to bring news ahead of The Players Championship and at the end (for Eddie and Andy Murray at least) of the Sunningdale Foursomes. Lees meer

Ramble, Big Man, Ramble.
10 maart 2026 · 1 uur 14 min
With Iain somewhere en route to the Players Championship, it's up to Andrew and Eddie to hold the fort this week, which they don't technically manage to do as Andy Murray scales the walls to join in and look ahead to the Sunningdale Foursomes. There is also conversation about Eddie's performance in Johannesburg and how he can carry the solid form of his South African trip forward when he has little competitive golf coming up, except to partner with a former tennis player against the man who was once the best youth golfer in Europe. The wins for Dan Bradbury, Akshay Bhatia and Jon Rahm are also discussed, while they wonder if there should be concern about the form of Scottie Scheffler or the injury to Rory McIlroy. The answer is probably no, but serious worries remain about the number of dogs heading for Sunningdale. Lees meer

Stop Jumping, Jen.
3 maart 2026 · 1 uur 23 min
HAIL THE CONQUERING HERO... except for the four players ahead of him whom he didn't quite conquer. It was a great weekend for Eddie though as he finished 5th in the South African Open and is still in Stellenbosch to give us all of the details, including a hot putter, an unplanned equipment change and a caddie who simply enjoys it all too much. There is also discussion of Shane Lowry's meltdown at the end of Cognizant Classic in Florida and his admirable post-round chat with the media. The three then talk about the layers which are now clearly forming in the professional game and find time to praise the talent in British Women's golf as well as Chris Wood on the MENA Tour. They then wonder if Andy Murray will lay on a private jet to get Eddie back in time for a practice round ahead of the Sunningdale Foursomes. If he doesn't, he's just not taking it seriously. Life Choices, LIV Choices.
24 februari 2026 · 1 uur 16 min
This week two become three again as Iain returns from his travels to tell us that he's going travelling again, but also to join Andrew in asking Eddie if he thought he should have made more of an effort in getting to Kenya. There then follows a series of reflections on what Eddie - and indeed all humans - want from life. Lees meer
In golfing terms they discuss Jon Rahm's refusal to pay his fines and whether it leaves him out in the Ryder Cup cold, Jacob Bridgeman's win at Riviera, Nelly Korda's stay-at-home attitude and Eddie's preparations for the SA Open at Stellenbosch.

Kim, Collin and Karen
17 februari 2026 · 1 uur 10 min
Reasons to be cheerful this week. Not - you will be unsurprised to hear - from Andrew, but from Eddie who, despite a tough final round on the greens of Fancourt is bullish about his form. The two of them discuss that, as well as an incredible performance from Anthony Kim providing LIV, for all their millions spent, with their greatest story. Lees meer
There is also mention of Collin Morikawa getting back to winning ways at Pebble Beach and Charley Hull making house alterations after her triumph in Saudi Arabia. Then Andrew takes a lemsip-inspired deep dive into the the rich history of Karen Country Club, where Eddie is among those playing in this week's Magical Kenya Open.

Reed it and Weep.
9 februari 2026 · 1 uur 7 min
Still just a two-ball this week where Eddie reflects - in a surprisingly positive way - about his MC in the Qatar Masters and he and Andrew both wax lyrical about the golfing talents of Patrick Reed who, having defected from the Saudi Arabian collective, simply romps around the rest of the Middle-East. Lees meer
With Eddie travelling all day on Monday it was a Sunday recording of the pod, so it's left to Andrew and Mabel (sorry Richard) to chat about Chris Gøtterup's latest win, in Phoenix.
There is also mention for the biggest prize of the week going to one of the youngest players - Elvis Smylie won the LIV opener in Riyadh in front of a crowd approximately the same size as the audience annoying Eddie in a Doha cinema.
