When our speech, after years, is still focused on accusing others as the cause of our pain, this is as lethal as arsenic in the coffee. Both can be killers. Life and death are in the tongue. It’s just two different methods of dealing with pain and hurt. God, help us to keep our hearts clean.
In Genesis 45, Joseph’s words overflow with grace instead of bitterness, showing that a heart surrendered to God will always speak life. When His presence fills our hearts, our words reveal His work in us — even through pain, betrayal, and waiting.
