Dracula (2026)
17 oktober 2026 · 1 uur 47 min
When we were all in Louisville together for our live show, we took the opportunity to record a pair of Shoctober episodes all together in person, and this is the first one! What happens when the only version of Dracula that Luc Besson seems to be familiar with is "Bram Stoker's Dracula?" Scream 7
3 oktober 2026 · 1 uur 51 min
Much like a horror movie villain, the Scream movies refuse to die, even though with every new sequel the films shed more of what that made the franchise special and the whole thing just becomes a regular ol' slasher series. Eventually you get late installments like SCREAM 7. Some have called it the worst Scream of all! Will we agree? Lees meer

Standing Ovation
19 september 2026 · 1 uur 54 min
We say goodbye to Smalltember with a true bad movie jewel (thanks to Alonso Duralde for recommending it) -- the kid/tween/teen musical comedy STANDING OVATION, one of the few movies about a singing competition that also makes room for a mob subplot and a child who threatens people with deadly animals. Surfer: Teen Confronts Fear
5 september 2026 · 1 uur 36 min
Smalltember winds are blowing in, and this year the currents brought us a doozy. SURFER: TEEN CONFRONTS FEARhas already become a new bad movie classic, and we had a lot of fun(?) confronting this strange object that arrived at Flop House central like a beached whale. It's a metaphysical monologue! It's a stealth religious film! It's a military thriller! It's a surfing movie! It's a dad wasting his kid's time! 40 Days and 40 Nights
2 mei 2026 · 1 uur 27 min
We close out Max Fun Drive 2026 with some true pain. Stuart's proclaimed "least favorite movie," 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS, a supposed "sexy romcom" that's actually a melange of unfunny shenanigans, poisonous attitudes, nothing that resembles actual human behavior, and (trigger warning) some unacknowledged sexual assault. For Max Fun Drive 2026 (starting this Monday 4/20)the Peaches issued a fiendish challenge to one another -- we each get ONE pick to bedevil the others with, and Stuart starts us off with a doozy: 1994's EXIT TO EDEN. Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie

Ella McCay
14 maart 2026 · 1 uur 39 min
On this episode, we discuss ELLA MCCAY, which -- based on its poster -- is a movie about a woman having trouble with her shoe. Hmn. That can't be right. Well, whatever it's about, it's made by the legendary James L. Brooks, so we can be sure it'll have a clear plot, strong themes, and a comprehensible emotional throughline! Lees meer

Sonic the Hedgehog 3, with Jamelle Bouie
28 februari 2026 · 2 uur 9 min
You probably thought we forgot the hedgehog beat! We were just biding our time. Sometimes slow and steady wins the race, SONIC. We welcome our returning Senior Hedgehog Correspondent, Jamelle Bouie, who absolutely does not have anything more important to do than extend this bit, to discuss Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Why does a movie about a fast hedgehog have this much plot, and why is it all so boilerplate? We get into it. Lees meer

High Rollers, with Jordan Morris
14 februari 2026 · 2 uur 7 min
Yes, we never heard of it either. But trust us when we say that High Rollers (sequel to the equally nonexistent movie Cash Out) makes for a helluva S-tier Flop House episode, especially when it features longtime friend of the show Jordan Morris as our guest. Is Travolta the new Nic Cage? Well, if you're watching Face/Off, yes, definitely. But in terms of FH movie greatness? Yeah, maybe! Lees meer
