The winners are… super scavenging siblings, Lottie & Jack! Jack chose a bug stuck in a cobweb for his fascinating thing ...on the way back from their walk unfortunately the bug was being eaten by the spider for dinner! Jack said it was half fascinating and half disgusting!
Lottie found a very interesting rainbow bug , an unknown wiggly creature in our pond but mainly wanted to share that it was flying ant day! Ants had made a home in our allotment compost heap and there was hundreds of them swarming around. She said it's fascinating because the ants only have wings for a few days!Thank you, our intrepid explorers, for sharing these creepy crawly discoveries with us! Koko and Kira tip their hats to you.

Well done Scarlett, we LOVED your story. It was about a red panda, also named Scarlett, who is a super cool, hip character, who's besties with Kira! They met at cheerleading auditions and now they do everything together- craft, cheer, play "Hide from Koko" (which is a koala-approved hide and seek), and also their favorite game "the bamboo challenges", where they make wild stuff out of bamboo like dresses or mini tables. Once they started building a bamboo hut but ended up eating it mid-build. Kira eating the stems and Scarlett eating the leaves. I can understand that. It's like trying to build a gingerbread house without eating the windows and door whilst you work!
Scarlett also sent an amazing drawing, and a map of Sleepy Forest, which is so accurate, it's like she's been!👏
Our runner up this week is the marvellous Lottie, who wrote a story about Mr Blobby Wobby, who flies on a unicorn's back in the search of a golden diamond. Lottie, we loved reading your story, with Mr Blobby Wobby's blobby bed, and his pal Mr Rainbowpants - It is a masterpiece! ✍️
