THE DAY OF THE LORD — Are You Living in Light of That Day? | Kingdom School, Lesson 16
31 oktober 2026 · 1 uur 3 min
The cross is behind us. The Day of the Lord is ahead of us. Are we living in light of what is coming? Lees meer
Welcome to Lesson 16 of the Kingdom School! In this lesson, we look at a message that many churches rarely speak about anymore: the return of Jesus, the coming judgment, and the blessed hope we have in Him.
Understanding that day changes how we live today. It calls us to repentance, holiness, and boldness in sharing the gospel—and gives us hope to endure through suffering.
We open the Bible and look at:
• Why the Day of the Lord will be glorious for some and dreadful for others.
• What it means to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire.
• Why that day should not surprise believers like a thief in the night.
• How the hope of Jesus’ appearing helps us remain faithful and ready. At the end, I share something very personal about my dear friend Edouard, who has gone home to be with the Lord. Even while facing cancer, he was full of faith, peace, and hope. His life—and our conversations—deeply impacted me. I encourage you to watch the interview linked below.
Open your Bible, examine everything by Scripture, and let this teaching stir you to live with your eyes on Jesus and His coming Kingdom.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE—HOW TO WAGE WAR | Kingdom School Lesson 15
23 oktober 2026 · 52 min
Many Christians know that spiritual warfare is real. They feel the attacks in their minds and in other areas of their lives—but are we fighting this war the way the Bible teaches? Lees meer
We know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but it often feels as though it is. Should we wage spiritual war by searching for territorial spirits or confronting fallen angels? The Bible reveals where the real battlefield is, which weapons God has given us, and how we can stand firm until the enemy flees.
In this powerful lesson, you will learn:
• Why the battlefield is primarily in the mind and heart
• How lies become spiritual strongholds
• Why God’s Word is the sword of the Spirit
• How Jesus defeated temptation by declaring, “It is written”
• What Daniel teaches us about prayer and heavenly warfare
• Why Paul prayed for wisdom, revelation, and spiritual understanding
• How to overcome fear, condemnation, pride, bitterness, and anxiety
• What it truly means to put on the armor of GodWe overcome lies with truth, fear with faith, condemnation with grace, pride with humility, bitterness with forgiveness, and anxiety with prayer.
Victory begins with the truth.

The Two Kingdoms | Understanding the Spiritual Battle / Kingdom School – Lesson 14
10 oktober 2026 · 1 uur
Have you ever wondered why the world is the way it is? Why is there so much deception, darkness, persecution, and spiritual confusion? Lees meer
Is the Bible primarily a story about heaven and hell? Or is it the story of two kingdoms at war—the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan?
In this lesson, we lay an important foundation for understanding the spiritual world. Beginning in Genesis and continuing through the teachings of Jesus, we discover how the Bible reveals two kingdoms, two fathers, two seeds, and a battle that has been taking place since the fall of man.
This understanding changes how we read Scripture, how we understand salvation, and how we recognize the spiritual battle taking place all around us—and within our own hearts.

The Day of Pentecost | The Birth of the New Covenant Church / Kingdom School – Lesson 13
3 oktober 2026 · 1 uur 3 min
When did the New Covenant actually begin? Was it at Jesus' birth, at the cross, at the resurrection, or on the Day of Pentecost? Lees meer
Is the Day of Pentecost just for Pentecostal people and only about speaking in tongues? Or is it the beginning of something much greater that points us toward the return of Christ?
In this lesson, we take a fresh look at the Book of Acts and discover how the giving of the Holy Spirit was the fulfillment of God's promise through the prophets. We will see that salvation is not merely a moment but a journey—from justification, through sanctification, to the final glorification when Christ returns.

Sick with Cancer… But Full of Hope | An Honest Conversation About Faith, Suffering, and Eternity
2 april 2026 · 1 uur 11 min
This is a very special episode. Lees meer
My good friend Edouard is a faithful disciple, a fruitful leader, and a man who has helped many people in France and other countries come to Jesus and grow as disciples. But right now, he is facing a very serious battle with cancer. The doctors have said they have no more treatment to offer. And yet, this is not a story without hope. I
In this powerful and emotional conversation, we talk openly about:
• cancer
• healing
• suffering
• faith
• disappointment
• the kingdom of God
• the resurrection
• and the hope we have in Christ
This is not a shallow conversation. It is honest, real, deep, and full of eternal perspective. We still believe in healing. We still pray for miracles. But at the same time, we understand that our ultimate hope is not in this life alone, but in the kingdom to come.
Edouard and Torben have a real conversation about what they have learned through suffering, and how their faith has actually grown deeper in the middle of it all. Edouard also shares what God has done in France in recent years and how grateful he is to have lived a life of discipleship and fruitfulness.
I believe this podcast will touch many of you deeply.
Please watch, pray for Edouard, and share this with others who need hope, perspective, and encouragement.

Knowing God — Not Just Knowing About Him | Disciple Makers Podcast Ep. 4
18 februari 2026 · 1 uur
Most Christians believe in God. But how many truly know Him? Lees meer
In this episode, we talk about the difference between:
• Knowing about God
• And actually knowing God
There is a huge difference between theology and intimacy. Between information and relationship. Between correct doctrine and walking with the Holy Spirit.
📖 John 17:3 — “This is eternal life: that they know You…” Jesus didn’t say, “I never heard about you.” He said, “I never knew you.”
That is relational language. In this episode, I’m joined by my friend Olivier (France/Canada), currently visiting our school in Mexico.
Together we talk about:
🔥 What biblical “knowing” really means
🔥 How to move from head knowledge to heart reality
🔥 Practical ways to cultivate intimacy with God
🔥 A word to pastors and leaders
🔥 Why Acts Christianity was relational
If you want more than religion… If you want real life with God… This episode is for you.

Videos are coming out that are shaking many people. Today we talk about that — but we also go deeper. Not just what is happening, but why. What is the real issue beneath the surface? And what is it that very few are talking about?
In this episode of the Disciple Makers Podcast, I’m joined by my close friend Jon. We speak honestly about sin in the church, our responsibility as believers, and what Scripture actually says about judging inside the church — not the world.
This is not a polished studio conversation. I’m on the road. This is real life. Real ministry. Real discipleship.

Free Indeed: Why the Half Gospel Can’t Set People Free from Sin | Disciple Makers Podcast Ep. 2
4 februari 2026 · 59 min
What does it really mean to be “free indeed”? Lees meer
Jesus said:
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)Yet many believers truly love Jesus—yet they are still bound.
They want to live free, but they keep struggling with the same sin again and again. In Episode 2 of the Disciple Makers Podcast, we talk about a truth many avoid:
👉 A half gospel cannot produce real freedom.
In this episode:
• We unpack John 8:31–36 and what Jesus meant by true freedom
• We address the lie that “we will always be sinners”
• We reject both extremes: endless bondage and sinless perfection
• We share Joah’s powerful testimony—from hidden struggle to real freedom
• We speak directly to pastors and leaders about our responsibility
• We show how repentance, baptism, discipleship, and obedience belong togetherThis is not about condemnation.
This is about freedom. And to be clear: we do not preach sinless perfection.
We preach freedom from being slaves to sin.Movements begin with the right seed.
If the seed is wrong, the fruit will be wrong.Follow Torben's Story here:

In this first episode of the Disciple Makers Podcast, we talk about the two kinds of fruit the Bible points to:
✅ Fruit of the Spirit (character & holiness)
✅ Fruit of making disciples (obedience, multiplication, and seeing lives transformed)
This is not a fancy studio—we’re on the road—but the message is real and practical. In this episode, Torben Søndergaard sits down with Olivier Buadès to share testimony, breakthrough, and simple steps you can start doing this week to become a fruitful disciple who glorifies the Father.
We also take time to speak directly to pastors and leaders about moving from church activity to a real disciple-making culture—training believers to do the Word, not only hear it.
In this episode:
• Why Jesus doesn’t just want “fruit”—He wants much fruit
• The two kinds of fruit many Christians confuse (or miss)
• Why comparison kills fruitfulness (and what to do instead)
• Olivier’s testimony: from addiction to repentance, freedom, and disciple-making
• Practical steps to begin seeing fruit in everyday life
• A message to pastors/leaders: a culture shift from teaching-only to training & obedience

Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil, and immediately it sprang up, since it had no depth of soil. 6 And when the sun rose, it was scorched, and since it had no root, it withered away. Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain. And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.” And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

See this introduction where you get a taste of what to expect in this new transformation series—in this new KINGDOM SCHOOL.

A New Move of God
14 oktober 2024 · 54 min
We are seeing true transformation here in Mexico, spreading to other places and churches. What we are witnessing right now is extraordinary. We are working together with many pastors and their churches, and it is not just another conference or meeting; we are seeing transformation and reformation. Lees meer
The churches' DNA is being changed so that those who experience it can never go back. Many pastors have even decided to be baptized again, as their previous baptisms as children did not involve repentance. Now, they are experiencing a new reality filled with the Holy Spirit, leading to a freedom from sin that they have never felt before. In the last three weeks, we have seen seven pastors baptized, and we are currently working with several pastors and leaders on more training and teaching.
What is happening is beautiful and unique. It is the fruit of what God did in jail. He spoke about this. He did a work in me that made this possible.

Living By Faith - Neither Poverty or Riches
1 oktober 2024 · 1 uur 1 min
On this week’s episode of the podcast we are discussing the prosperity Gospel. There is a big problem with the "prosperity gospel" which has been influencing so many people - but it's also a problem if we go in the other "ditch" and try to live the "poverty gospel." Lees meer
There is a middle road where God wants us to walk when it comes to money. This is the fourth teaching in the series LIVING BY FAITH, where this time we are looking at a very important verse in Proverbs 30:
Pro 30:7 "Two things I ask of you, LORD; do not refuse me before I die: Pro 30:8 Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give the neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Pro 30:9, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God."
We are looking at the balance between being rich and being poor, and how the Bible is clear that God is TESTING us when it comes to money. He is testing us to see where our heart is.You can find the podcast on… Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/this-is-real/id1614226244 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5vIr0DxX2op7rV6MdNNnp4 Everywhere Else: https://torbensondergaard.buzzsprout.com/

Living By Faith - Dependent on the Father
4 september 2024 · 59 min
We need to learn how it is to live in FAITH - how it is to KNOW that we have a Father in Heaven who WILL take care of us! Jesus said that we should not worry about food, about clothes, or about any of those things. Instead, we should look at the birds in the sky and at the flowers in the field. When God takes care of THEM, will He not also take care of US? Lees meer
In this third lesson of our series LIVING BY FAITH, I'm sharing some amazing testimonies of how we started to step into this life
- how God took care of us
- how God gives to us according to our needs
- and how we can live a life dependent on Him and no other! I believe this teaching will bless many of you, but it will also challenge you as we are looking at Jesus' words that "No one can serve two masters. We cannot serve both God and mammon."Follow Torben's Story here:

Fighting for the Gospel - Power of the Holy Spirit
17 juli 2024 · 1 uur 16 min
In this amazing and challenging teaching we are going to look at the Holy Spirit in the early church. This is truly going to challenge you because you will see what the Holy Spirit is really doing in a person who is full of the Spirit. Lees meer
In the Bible, you see that when the Holy Spirit comes over a person, that person truly receives power to become the witness or martyr of Christ! You also see there is power to perform miracles. You see how people were led by the Spirit. You also see that there is fruit of the Spirit in a person's life. If you have people today who think they have the Holy Spirit but don't have the power, don't have the miracles, don't have the fruit, why believe that they have the Spirit? Because they prayed a prayer? Or because they got baptized as a baby and were told they had the Spirit inside of them? Or even because they speak in tongues?
