Mysteries of Mount Shasta: Lemurians, UFOs, Bigfoot - EP 175

Mount Shasta stands alone in Northern California, a 14,000-foot volcano that has drawn more strange stories than almost any mountain in America. In this VIP request episode from longtime Patreon supporter Anna M., Eric, Sean and Jorge trace the legend of Mount Shasta from the beginning. That starts with the massive landslide that once tore the mountain apart and the Native creation stories of the Sky Spirit and the grizzly bears.
From there, the hosts dig into the Lemurians, a tall, robed lost race said to live in a hidden city called Telos inside the mountain and to come down into town paying in gold. They follow the trail of a channeled 1880s book, a mysterious prospector who vanished in 1934 and a self-proclaimed Lemurian princess. Then comes the “I AM” Activity, a crew born from Guy Ballard’s claimed meeting with Saint Germain on the mountain that ended up before the U.S. Supreme Court.
The episode also covers UFO sightings and the viral “flying saucer” cloud of 2020, Bigfoot and the Patterson-Gimlin film, climbers who go missing on the mountain and the Emerald Triangle’s Murder Mountain next door. Is Mount Shasta a portal, a lost civilization’s last refuge, or the greatest legend ever written one article at a time?

H.H. Holmes: The Death Castle - EP 174

www.patreon.com/theconspiracypodcast Lees meer
In 1893, the World’s Fair turned Chicago into a city of electric light, and on 63rd Street a man calling himself Dr. H.H. Holmes was building something very different. In this Halloween special of The Conspiracy Podcast, Eric, Sean and Jorge tell the true story of Herman Webster Mudgett, the New Hampshire farm boy who became a con man, a bigamist and one of the most notorious killers in American history.
Eric, Sean and Jorge follow Holmes from medical school, where he learned to cash in on corpses, to the maze-like “Murder Castle” in Englewood. They cover the women who disappeared from his building, the insurance scheme that turned deadly in Philadelphia, and the three children he took across the Midwest and into Canada. They also follow Frank Geyer, the Philadelphia detective who went city to city with the children’s photographs in his pocket until he found what Holmes had done.
Then come the conspiracies. Was H.H. Holmes really Jack the Ripper, as his own descendant claims? Did he escape the gallows and flee to South America? Who set fire to the Murder Castle while he sat in a jail cell? Where did the legend of 200 victims come from? And did a curse follow everyone connected to the case? Eric, Sean and Jorge separate the documented crimes from the tabloid legend in a story that’s dark, strange and true.

Nine and a half years after President Bush said he wanted Osama bin Laden “dead or alive,” Navy SEALs entered a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Thirty-eight minutes later, the most wanted man in the world was dead, and his body was gone within a day. In this final chapter of The Conspiracy Podcast’s 9/11 series, Eric, Sean and Jorge follow the hunt from start to finish, as the War on Terror unfolds around it.
The story starts at Tora Bora in 2001, where bin Laden was within reach and walked away. It moves through the Iraq detour, the black sites and the courier whose nickname finally led investigators to a three-story compound with no phone line, no internet and a tall man who paced the courtyard but never let a camera see his face. Then the hosts walk through the raid minute by minute, from the helicopter crash in the courtyard to the competing accounts of who fired the shots, and the White House story that changed in three days.
Then come the questions the government never answered. Where is the proof? Why were no photos released? Why did no sailors watch the burial? The hosts rank the theories from believable to far-fetched and open the files from the compound itself, including the details that were never meant to become public.
Whatever you believe happened that night, there’s one thing nobody has been shown.

Eight parts. Ten hours. Thousands of documents, hearings, missed warnings and unanswered questions. Now it's time for the hosts to make the call.
In the finale, Sean, Jorge and Eric each give an uninterrupted summation of everything the series covered, from the Cold War roots of Al-Qaeda to the morning the towers fell and the years of questions that followed. Patreon members voted on the speaking order. There's no banter and no tangents, just three hosts laying out what they believe happened on September 11th and why.
They've spent months in the same evidence, and they've each landed somewhere. Do they agree? Where do they split? And whose case will make you rethink your own?
If you haven't heard the rest of the series, go back to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and The Rise of Al-Qaeda, then start at Part 1. The summations build on everything that came before.
You decide: Once you've heard all three, join the hosts in the After Hours and vote in the Spotify poll for the one you agree with most.

Jason Thomas had been off active duty in the Marine Corps for only a few weeks when the morning of September 11th began, and his uniform was still in the back of his truck. By the time the North Tower fell, he had put it on and driven into Manhattan with no orders and no plan, just his training and a city in trouble. Before the day was over, he and another Marine in uniform would walk into a section of the site that rescue crews had been pulled out of, calling into the smoke and listening for an answer.

www.patreon.com/theconspiracypodcast Lees meer
The Fifth Plane? On the morning of September 11, 2001, United Airlines Flight 23 sat in a line of jets at JFK, waiting to take off for Los Angeles. It was a fully fueled Boeing 767, the same aircraft type as two of the hijacked planes. Then the ground stop came, and it never left the ground.
In Part 7 of the 9/11 series, Eric, Sean, and Jorge dig into the "fifth plane" theory. After a cockpit-intrusion warning came through, Captain Tom Mannello grabbed the crash ax and First Officer Carol Timmons barricaded the cockpit door with their own luggage. Flight attendants reported four passengers in first class who refused food and kept demanding to take off, along with a figure in a burqa they believed was a man in disguise. After the plane returned to the gate and emptied out, a flight attendant says she ran into two men hiding on board. Box cutters turned up on the 767 parked right next to it. The 9/11 Commission Report never mentions Flight 23. More than 20 years later, the FBI still refuses to release its files, citing a pending law enforcement proceeding.
The guys also break down the strange case of Zacarias Moussaoui, the only person convicted in a U.S. civilian court in connection with 9/11. He was arrested weeks before the attacks while training on a 747 simulator. He pleaded guilty, then took the stand and claimed he was meant to fly a fifth plane into the White House, then called his own testimony a fabrication.
Was Flight 23 the fifth plane, or is this hindsight filling in the gaps?

The Conspiracy Podcast begins its deep dive into the unanswered questions of September 11th with the first half of a two-part conspiracy special. Eric, Sean, and Jorge move past the official timeline of the attacks and into the evidence that has fueled two decades of public suspicion — starting with the unusually large put option trades placed against United and American Airlines in the days before the attacks, and what the 9/11 Commission, the SEC, and independent academic research actually found when they investigated.
From there, the guys break down the military's posture that morning, including the live NORAD exercises running in real time, the fighter jets pulled toward Alaska, and a coincidentally-timed drill at the National Reconnaissance Office. They dig into the Project for the New American Century's "Rebuilding America's Defenses" report and its now-infamous reference to a "new Pearl Harbor," the wave of foreign intelligence warnings that went unheeded that summer, the FBI's missed opportunities with agent Kenneth Williams' Phoenix memo and the Zacarias Moussaoui arrest, and the CIA's handling of hijackers Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi in the eighteen months before the attacks.
It's a night of following the money, the paper trail, and the chain of command — with the guys openly debating where negligence ends and something else begins.

Part 4 of the 9/11 Series, this episode turns to the Pentagon, the hijackers themselves, and Osama bin Laden — three of the most examined and most disputed threads connected to September 11th.
Hosts Eric , Sean , and Jorge begin with the official record on American Airlines Flight 77: the impact at 9:37 AM, the recovered flight data and cockpit voice recorders, and the DNA identification of everyone aboard. They then work through the specific questions that have followed the Pentagon attack for twenty-five years — the limited wreckage visible in early photographs, the size of the entry hole, the small number of security camera frames ever released, and Donald Rumsfeld's September 10th statement about $2.3 trillion in untracked Pentagon transactions.
From there turn to the 19 hijackers themselves: how they were identified within days through passenger manifests and financial records, the intact passport recovered near the World Trade Center, reports that some hijackers were later identified alive by family members overseas, and the flying ability of Hani Hanjour, the pilot accused of executing the Pentagon's final approach.
The episode closes on Osama bin Laden — his fatwas against the United States, his ties to the 1998 embassy bombings and the USS Cole, his connection to the CIA-backed mujahideen of the Soviet-Afghan War, and his own shifting public statements about September 11th in the years that followed.

The first two episodes of this series told the story of the September 11th attacks. This episode turns to what's still argued about the World Trade Center collapse twenty-five years later, examining the physical evidence, the official NIST investigation, and the theories that have circulated since 2001.
Sean, Eric , and Jorge work through NIST's official findings on the collapse of the Twin Towers — how the aircraft impacts stripped away fireproofing, why the structural failure took the shape it did, and the engineering behind it. They also examine the specific claims that have defined 9/11 conspiracy theories for two decades: reports of molten metal found in the wreckage weeks after the collapse, the speed at which the towers came down, the free-fall acceleration debate, and whether NIST's own data holds up against them.
The episode then turns to World Trade Center Building 7 — a 47-story skyscraper that was never struck by an aircraft and collapsed that evening regardless. Building 7's collapse remains one of the most debated open questions connected to 9/11. The hosts cover NIST's official explanation, the competing University of Alaska Fairbanks engineering study that challenges it, and developer Larry Silverstein's "pull it" comment from a 2002 PBS interview, weighing what he has said the phrase meant against how it's been interpreted by skeptics since.
The episode closes on the financial side of that day — the World Trade Center lease Silverstein signed six weeks before the attacks, and the insurance settlement that followed, both frequently cited in 9/11 truth movement discussions.

Part two picks up right where "The Day" left off — both towers still standing, the country still trying to figure out what's happening. This episode finishes the story of September 11th, and it's a lot heavier than the headlines usually let it be.
Eric, Sean and Jorge walk through the collapse of both towers minute by minute — what it actually felt like from inside, drawing on The Only Plane in the Sky, the oral history built entirely from witness accounts. But this episode isn't just about the worst parts of that morning. It's about Rick Rescorla, who ignored the "stay put" announcement and personally evacuated nearly 2,700 people from the South Tower while singing through a bullhorn, then went back in and never came out. It's about the 14 people who survived in Stairwell B because a Port Authority employee named Josephine Harris couldn't move fast — and accidentally saved everyone around her. It's about Welles Crowther, the Man in the Red Bandana, and the Coast Guard-led boatlift that moved half a million people off Manhattan by water in under nine hours, a bigger evacuation than Dunkirk.
The episode also follows the chaos in Washington — Cheney in the White House bunker authorizing a shootdown order the 9/11 Commission itself later admitted has "conflicting evidence" about who actually approved it first, Ben Sliney grounding every plane in American airspace on his literal first day on the job, and the military confusion that left fighter jets 150 miles away when the Pentagon was hit.
And it sets up what's coming next — the first mention of Building 7, the 47-story tower that collapsed without being hit by a plane, and a passport that survived a 500-mile-an-hour impact and a raging fire almost too cleanly to believe.
This episode closes out the full account of September 11th before the series turns to what's still unresolved a quarter-century later.

Twenty-five years later, The Conspiracy Podcast is finally tackling it. "9/11: Unanswered" kicks off with the day itself — minute by minute, four flights, one morning that changed everything.
It starts like any other Tuesday. Nineteen men move through four different airports — Portland, Boston, Newark, Washington Dulles — carrying box cutters and knives with blades under four inches, which was perfectly legal at the time. Ten of them get flagged by CAPPS, the era's passenger screening system, before they even board. Flagged, and let through anyway. Hosts Eric , Sean and Jorge pull apart exactly how that happened, working straight from the 9/11 Commission Report to keep the timeline accurate rather than relying on secondhand retellings.
From there it's real time. Flight attendants Betty Ong and Amy Sweeney calling it in from the air as it's happening. Daniel Lewin, a former Israeli special forces officer, trying to stop his own hijacker before anyone on the ground even knows what's unfolding. The first plane hits the North Tower and the world assumes it's an accident — until the second one hits live on television, and there's no more room for that assumption. Then the Pentagon. Then United 93, where the passengers find out, mid-flight, exactly what happened to the other three planes and make a decision most of them never get the chance to think twice about.
The episode also follows President Bush's morning at a Florida elementary school — the seven minutes in that classroom people are still arguing about twenty-five years later — through Air Force One and into the address that ended up shaping the next two decades of American foreign policy.
This one ran long. Long enough that the hosts split it into two parts rather than cut corners on any of it. Part 2 picks up exactly where this one leaves off. Later episodes in the series get into what's still unresolved after twenty-five years — the Commission's own gaps, the disputed c…

Join the boys as they trace Al-Qaeda's origins from the Soviet-Afghan War to the eve of September 11th, 2001. Hosts unpack how Osama bin Laden and Palestinian scholar Abdullah Azzam built Maktab al-Khidamat, the recruitment network that seeded al-Qaeda's formal founding in a Peshawar house in August 1988 — with just fifteen men on its original roster.
The episode connects the dots most true crime and history podcasts miss: how the 1993 WTC bomber Ramzi Yousef's uncle, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, quietly financed that attack before becoming the architect of 9/11 himself. Listeners get the full arc — bin Laden's betrayal by the Saudi monarchy during the Gulf War, his exile in Sudan, the alliance with the Taliban, the 1998 embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, and the USS Cole attack — plus a deep dive into the unsettling human details rarely covered elsewhere: the hijackers' bizarre flight school behavior (including an abandoned Cessna left on a Miami taxiway), documented drinking and strip club visits that contradict their professed extremism, and two eerie traffic stops — including one just two days before the attacks — that could have changed everything.
The episode closes on the edge of history: September 10th, 2001, with nineteen men in place and no one yet knowing what the next morning would bring.
This is essential setup for the show's upcoming four-part 9/11 25th anniversary series, launching later this month.

The 1993 World Trade Center Bombing - EP 163

www.patreon.com/theconspiracypodcast Lees meer
Most people, when they hear "World Trade Center," think of one date. But eight years before September 11th, the Twin Towers were already a target — and the man behind it wanted to bring down both buildings at once.
On February 26, 1993, Ramzi Yousef detonated a truck bomb in the parking garage beneath the North Tower, hoping to topple it sideways into the South Tower and kill a quarter of a million people at lunchtime. He failed — but not by much. Six people died, over a thousand were injured, and roughly 50,000 people evacuated through smoke-filled stairwells in what was, at the time, the largest evacuation in American history.
In this episode, Eric, Sean, and Jorge dig into the story almost nobody remembers: the co-conspirator who got caught because he wanted his $400 deposit back, the FBI informant whose secretly recorded tapes suggest the bombing could have been stopped, the now-debunked Iraq conspiracy theory that helped shape a war, and the bomb-maker who vanished into Baghdad and has never been found. They also trace the single $660 wire transfer that connects this attack to Yousef's uncle — a man named Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who would return eight years later to finish what his nephew started.
This is Episode 163, and the official start of the show's lead-in to the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Boeing Compilation

Once the gold standard of American aviation, Boeing built its reputation on a simple promise: "If it's not Boeing, I'm not going." In this compilation, the guys trace how that promise unraveled — from the Wright Brothers' first 120-foot flight in 1903 to a company now facing federal fraud charges, congressional testimony, and a body count that refuses to stay in the "coincidence" column.
The crew digs into Boeing's merger with McDonnell Douglas and the culture shift that followed, the 737 MAX's MCAS system and the two crashes that grounded a fleet worldwide, and the DOJ settlement that left victims' families fighting over scraps while executives walked away with golden parachutes. Then there's the door. The infamous mid-air blowout on an Alaska Airlines flight that sent the story right back into the headlines — and right back to a familiar name.
At the center of it all is John Barnett, a 28-year Boeing quality inspector turned whistleblower, found dead in his truck mid-testimony against the company he spent decades defending. Add in a second whistleblower, Joshua Dean, gone under equally strange circumstances just weeks later, and the guys lay out every angle — corporate negligence, cover-up, and yes, the theory that somebody wanted these men silenced for good.
Is this simply a case of a company too big to face real consequences? Or is something darker keeping the truth grounded? Buckle up — literally — for this one.

Benghazi: The Cover-Up, the Stand-Down Order & the Email Scandal | Ep. 162
28 juli 2026 · 1 uur 24 min
www.patreon.com/theconspiracypodcast Lees meer
September 11th, 2012 in the city of Benghazi four Americans lost their lives. In a city most listeners couldn't point to on a map, when armed militants overran a lightly guarded U.S. compound in Benghazi. By the next morning, four Americans had lost their lives — among them Christopher Stevens, a diplomat so committed to the region he'd once arrived in the country by cargo ship rather than wait for a safer route in.
The fallout stretched on for years: nine separate government investigations, a marathon congressional hearing that ran past eleven hours, and — almost by accident — the exposure of a private email server that some argue tipped the outcome of a presidential race with no real connection to Libya.
This week, Eric, Sean, and Jorge open their countdown to the 25th anniversary of 9/11 by walking through it all — the overnight siege, the frantic hunt for an ambassador who vanished inside a burning building, and a devastatingly accurate mortar barrage at dawn that claimed two more American lives. From there, the guys tackle the parts of this story that still don't add up: a debunked video-blamed-it narrative pushed on national television, a disputed order to hold back rescuers that some contractors insist was real, and a theory tying a secret CIA outpost to weapons quietly moving toward Syria. They also connect the dots on how digging into Benghazi wound up cracking open one of the most consequential email scandals in American political history.

In Part Two, Sean, Jorge, and Eric dive straight into the theories that have kept the Isdal Woman's case alive for over half a century.
She died in a Norwegian valley under at least eight false identities, and fifty-five years later, no one still knows who she really was. Was she a Cold War intelligence operative, her movements lining up suspiciously close to Norway's top-secret missile testing sites while the country's secret police quietly opened their own file behind the scenes? Was she connected to a Swiss banker infamous for financing Nazi sympathizers and extremist causes across decades? Was she an international fraudster running a long con across the continent, or a woman working discreetly for a clientele who had every reason to stay silent after her death? And underneath every theory sits the same unanswered question: was it suicide, or murder?
The guys also break down the forensic science that's chipped away at the mystery over the years — isotope analysis narrowing down where she may have grown up, DNA testing tracing a maternal line to a part of the world none of her fake passports ever claimed — and how a fifty-year-old cold case turned into one of the most successful true crime podcasts ever made. Tens of thousands of amateur investigators from around the world are still hunting for answers today, still combing through old sketches and hotel records, still trying to finish what Norwegian police gave up on decades ago. And even after all that science, all that attention, and all those true believers, the Isdal Woman remains buried under a name that was never hers.
Let us know your theory. Who was she, and what really happened in Ice Valley?

In November 1970, a father and his two young daughters were hiking through a remote Norwegian ravine that locals had nicknamed "Death Valley" when they stumbled onto a nightmare: the burned, unrecognizable body of a woman, surrounded by personal items with every label, tag, and maker's mark deliberately removed. What followed became one of the strangest unsolved cases in modern European history.
Investigators would eventually uncover a woman who had crossed the continent under at least eight false identities, checking into hotel after hotel under invented names and fabricated Belgian hometowns, always paying cash, always wiping her own fingerprints from glasses. Hidden inside the lining of her suitcase: Deutsche Marks, disguises, and a coded notepad no one could read.
Norwegian police closed the case within months. No one has ever solved it.
Sean, Jorge, and Eric dig into the gruesome discovery, the disturbing autopsy findings, the tangled web of hotel aliases stretching across the continent, and the eyewitnesses who came forward decades later after being told, at the time, to simply forget what they'd seen. It's the foundation of one of the most bizarre disappearances of the Cold War era — and the mystery is only just getting started.

Part Two. Columbus discovered America. The Liberty Bell rang out on July 4th, 1776. The defenders of the Alamo were freedom-loving heroes who chose to die rather than surrender. And Pocahontas fell in love with a brave English soldier and saved his life with the power of nature and music.
These are the stories that made it into the movies, the federal holidays, the theme parks, and the history books. They're taught to every American child as fact. And in this episode, Eric, Jorge, and Sean are asking the question nobody wants to ask: what if most of them aren't true?
From the real history of Christopher Columbus and the colonization of the Americas, to the origin of the Liberty Bell's name, to what the Texas Revolution was actually fought over, to the true story of the real woman behind the Pocahontas myth — the guys dig into who built these legends, when, and why.
Some of these myths are embellished. Some are invented. And at least one is considerably darker than the version you grew up with.

In honor of America's 250th anniversary, Eric, Jorge, and Sean are taking on some of the most famous stories in American history — and asking a simple question: are they actually true?
Paul Revere's midnight ride. Betsy Ross and the first American flag. George Washington and the cherry tree. Benjamin Franklin flying a kite in a lightning storm. These are the stories every American learns as a kid, the legends that show up on murals and coins and every Fourth of July without fail.
But what if most of them were invented? Not exaggerated — invented. By poets, booksellers, and loyal grandsons who needed a good story and weren't above making one up. The real versions are messier, stranger, and in at least one case involved two men in Europe who didn't survive trying to replicate the experiment.
The guys dig into who actually built these myths, when, and why — and what the real stories look like underneath them. Turns out 250 years of American history comes with a lot of fine print.

The search for Noah's Ark doesn't end with the story — it ends in the mountains of eastern Turkey.
In Part 2, Eric, Jorge, and Sean pick up where they left off and dive into the physical evidence: a 515-foot boat-shaped formation sitting 18 miles south of Mount Ararat, ground-penetrating radar scans revealing angular structures 20 feet underground, and 2024 soil tests showing organic matter nearly three times higher inside the formation than outside.
They cover Ron Wyatt — the nurse anesthetist who spent 22 years and 25 trips convinced he'd found the ark — and the two scientists who came after him and ended up on opposite sides. The guys also get into the Black Sea catastrophe theory, the alternative mountain candidates, and all six major theories on what the ark actually was — or wasn't.
Core drilling is planned for 2025 and 2026, and the three hosts agree: whatever the results show, there's no question something happened. The flood was real. Whether the boat is still out there is another story.

Noah's Ark Part 1: Before the Bible - EP 156 Conspiracy Podcast

Before the Bible, before Genesis, before any written scripture as we know it — there was the flood. Eric, Sean, and Jorge dive into one of the oldest, most widespread, and most hotly debated stories in human history: Noah's Ark.
Did a catastrophic flood actually destroy an ancient civilization? The evidence is hard to ignore. 217 distinct cultures across six continents — from the ancient Sumerians to the Aztecs to Aboriginal Australians — all independently carry a version of the same story: a great flood, a righteous man, a massive boat, and a world reborn. That's not a coincidence. That's a memory.
In Part 1, the guys trace the flood narrative from its oldest known origins in ancient Mesopotamia — including the Sumerian tale of Ziusudra, the Akkadian story of Atrahasis, and the Epic of Gilgamesh — and show how these accounts predate the Biblical story of Noah by centuries, sharing nearly identical details beat for beat. They break down the Genesis account in full: the dimensions of the ark (spoiler: it's the size of a football field and a half), the 150 days on water, the raven, the dove, and the olive branch. They also dig into what the Bible actually says about where the ark landed — and why "the Mountains of Ararat" is far more complicated than you've been told.
Then they get into the physical search: a French explorer who pulled hand-worked wood from a glacier 13,000 feet up a Turkish mountain, an Apollo 15 astronaut who said finding Noah's Ark was harder than walking on the moon, and the boat-shaped formation in eastern Turkey that researchers are actively scanning with ground-penetrating radar right now.
Did a regional catastrophe get retold across thousands of years and hundreds of cultures into the story of one man and one boat? Or is there something more to it? Part 2 drops next week.

The Ark of the Covenant vanished from history in 586 BC — and for 2,600 years, everyone from ancient pharaohs to Nazi SS officers has been searching for it. In Part 2 of their deep dive, Jorge, Eric, and Sean break down the most compelling theories about where the world's most powerful relic actually ended up.
The guys go inside Ethiopia's extraordinary claim — where 45 million Orthodox Christians believe the Ark sits inside a tiny, heavily guarded chapel in Axum, protected by a single monk who takes its secrets to his grave. They unpack the Kebra Nagast, the tale of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, and why the most fully developed theory in history might also be the most flawed.
Then they dig into the Copper Scroll — an actual treasure map discovered in the Dead Sea caves listing 64 hidden locations and billions of dollars in sacred relics. Could the Ark be buried somewhere in the Judaean wilderness? Is it still hidden beneath the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, right under the Dome of the Rock? Or did the Babylonians simply melt it down for gold centuries ago?
The episode also covers the Nazi occult — the real Himmler, the real Ahnenerbe, and why the most militarized regime in modern history sent government-funded expeditions to track down a biblical artifact. Spoiler: they didn't find it either.
By the end, Jorge, Eric, and Sean land on where they think the Ark actually is — and the answer is both the simplest and most deflating theory of all.
Topics covered:
The Ethiopian claim and the Chapel of the Tablet in Axum
The Kebra Nagast, King Solomon, and Menelik I
Graham Hancock's The Sign and the Seal and the Elephantine theory
The Book of 2 Maccabees and the Mount Nebo cave
The Copper Scroll and the Dead Sea treasure map

The Ark of the Covenant (Part 1)
It's a box. Not a particularly big box — roughly four feet long, covered in gold, carried on poles, and missing for over 2,600 years. But according to three major world religions, it's the single most dangerous object that has ever existed on planet Earth. This week, Sean, Eric, and Jorge crack open one of the greatest mysteries in human history: the Ark of the Covenant.
Before anyone can chase it, hide it, or die trying to touch it, you need to understand what this thing actually was. The boys walk through the full origin story — Moses on Mount Sinai, 40 days and 40 nights, a very specific divine blueprint, and a construction contract that made IKEA instructions look casual. God wanted acacia wood, exact cubit measurements, a solid gold lid hammered by hand, and two golden cherubim with wings arching inward. No substitutions. No pine. Acacia only, sir.
Then the Ark starts doing things. Rivers stop flowing. City walls collapse. Seventy people drop dead just for looking inside it. A man named Uzzah reaches out to keep it from falling off a cart — trying to save it — and God strikes him down on the spot. The Philistines steal it, regret it immediately, and send it back with gold offerings and a full apology. It parts the Jordan River. It flattens the walls of Jericho without a single sword swung.
And then, somewhere around 586 BC, it simply vanishes — so completely that even the Babylonian king who looted Jerusalem didn't bother writing it down.
Where did it go? Is it buried under a church in Ethiopia? Was it hidden by priests who saw the invasion coming? Was it ever even a physical object at all? The boys lay the foundation this week so Part 2 can go full conspiracy. The mystery is just getting started.

Part 1 was the rise. This is the fall.
We pick up in the '90s, when the world that had made Michael Jackson started turning on him. The tabloids had a field day. The hyperbaric chamber. The Elephant Man's bones. A baby dangled off a balcony in Berlin. One by one, the story of the greatest entertainer who ever lived began to curdle into something else entirely.
Then came the allegations.
A dentist who drugged his own kid to get a confession. A $20 million demand to stay quiet. A 2003 documentary that aired to 48 million people and changed everything. A trial with 14 counts, a circus outside the courthouse, and a jury that came back not guilty — on every single one.
And then, four years later, a rented mansion in Holmby Hills. A doctor on his phone with a cocktail waitress. A call to 911 that came 90 minutes too late. And the most famous human being on earth, gone at 50.
We get into the death, the theories, the $400 million lawsuit still pending, and the question nobody has a clean answer to — was it negligence, a cash grab, a conspiracy, or all three?

Before the moonwalk. Before the glove. Before Neverland, before the tabloids, before the world decided it knew exactly who Michael Jackson was — there was a kid in Gary, Indiana who wasn't allowed to touch his father's guitar.
Most people know the legend. Few know the price.
Michael Jackson didn't have a childhood. He had rehearsals. He had a belt across the chair and a father who saw dollar signs where other dads saw sons. By the time he was eight years old he was performing in nightclubs, watching the adult world at its worst, and being told that was normal. It wasn't normal. None of it was.
And yet — out of all of that — came Thriller. The moonwalk. Four consecutive number one singles before he was twelve. A catalog worth billions. A chimp in a matching outfit eating dinner at the table.
But also Neverland. Also the allegations. Also a death that still doesn't sit right.
This week we start at the beginning — Gary, Indiana, Joe Jackson, the Apollo Theater, Motown, Quincy Jones, and the private world Michael built when he finally had enough money to build whatever he wanted. The FULL Pyramids Compilation (5 EPs in one)
The show's 100th episode. What started as a milestone special turned into five full episodes, hours of debate, and one of the most spirited arguments in podcast history. Now it's all in one place.
Eric, Sean, and Jorge dive headfirst into the greatest mystery in human history: Who built the Great Pyramids of Giza — and how the hell did they do it?
Part 1 — The History: Before the conspiracies, lay the foundation. The Nile River, the Old Kingdom, the pharaohs, and a timeline that puts the Great Pyramid in perspective. It was built before coins, before paper, before the domestication of horses in Africa — and Cleopatra was closer in time to us than to the pyramids.
Parts 2 & 3 — Sean's Episodes: Sean comes in swinging with 20 pages of things that don't add up. The Great Pyramid's near-perfect alignment with True North (off by 0.05 degrees — more precise than the Washington Monument). Pi and the Golden Ratio embedded in its dimensions. The Earth's own proportions mirrored in its geometry. Impossible 80-ton granite slabs. Sealed doors discovered by robots. Salt deposits in the Queen's Chamber. And the burning question: if it was just a tomb, where's the body?
Part 4 — Eric's Episode: Eric fights back. He makes the case that mankind — skilled, organized, and wildly underestimated — built the pyramids with no alien assistance. He brings evidence: the workers' village, Machu Picchu, the Great Wall of China, the Hoover Dam. His thesis? Human ingenuity has always defied what seems impossible.
The Update: Two weeks after Episode 100 aired, news broke of a massive underground complex discovered beneath Giza using satellite radar — interconnected chambers, spiraling shafts, and cylindrical voids stretching nearly two kilometers underground. We had to come back. Everything's on the table again.
History, mystery, bad diagrams, and a few things we still can't explain. Buckle up.

But how much of it is actually true?
In this episode, the boys break down Rudy in a classic “History vs. Hollywood” format—separating fact from fiction and digging into what really happened behind the scenes. From his path into Notre Dame to his time on the scout team, they explore what the movie got right… and what it clearly didn’t.
They also get into one of the most famous moments in the film—the emotional jersey scene—and why former players like Joe Montana have said it never actually happened. Was Rudy really carried by his teammates, or did Hollywood turn a small moment into something much bigger?
And just when you think the story ends with triumph, there’s a twist most people don’t know. Years later, Rudy found himself facing charges from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in a stock-related case—adding a whole new layer to the legacy.

The ocean has always been the last great unknown. Long before maps were complete, before satellites scanned every inch of the earth, sailors stared out into endless water and swore something was staring back.
Mermaids didn’t begin as the bright, red-haired figure we know today. They began in the shadows—ancient myths of half-human creatures tied to gods, shame, and transformation. In Greece, they weren’t even fish, but deadly Sirens whose voices lured men to their deaths. By the Middle Ages, they became symbols of temptation—beautiful, dangerous, and impossible to trust.
But not all stories paint them as monsters.
Some tell of mermaids living among humans… quietly learning how to survive on land. Others speak of sea-women taken from the ocean, only to leave years later when they find their way back. Sailors like Christopher Columbus claimed to see them—though not quite as beautiful as expected—while others, like John Smith, described something far more captivating.
And then there are the strange cases. The stitched “Feejee Mermaid” that fooled thousands. The eerie mermaid mummies in Japan. Even modern sightings, where people still claim to see something sitting on rocks just before disappearing beneath the waves.
So what are mermaids, really?
A misidentified animal? A shared illusion? Or something deeper—something that lives in the space between what we see and what we want to believe?
Tonight, the boys dive into the long, strange history of mermaids—from ancient myth to Disney—and explore why, even now, we’re not entirely ready to let them go.

In Part Two of The Moon Debate, the conversation shifts from surface-level anomalies to the deeper, harder questions—the ones that challenge not just what we saw, but what we believe about science, secrecy, and global power.
The Boys dive into Questions 6 through 10, where the debate intensifies. Was 1960s technology truly capable of pulling off one of the most complex missions in human history? And if the entire event were staged… how could hundreds of thousands of people stay silent for over 50 years?
From there, the scope expands beyond the United States. Why didn’t the Soviet Union—America’s greatest rival at the time—expose the Moon landing as a hoax if there was even a hint of deception? And what about the physical evidence that still exists today—lunar rocks studied across the globe and retroreflectors still used in real-time experiments? Do these stand as undeniable proof… or can they be explained another way?
This episode leans heavily into the tension between trust and skepticism. On one side, decades of scientific data, international validation, and ongoing experiments. On the other, questions about motive, control, and whether a small inner circle could have orchestrated something far larger than anyone imagined.
As always, Sean, Jorge, and Eric break it all down from both perspectives—letting the strongest arguments from each side go head-to-head.
Because at this point, the question isn’t just did we go to the Moon?
It’s whether the evidence we have is enough… or if doubt still has a place in one of history’s greatest achievements.

Did the Apollo 11 Moon Landing really happen, or was it the greatest hoax ever broadcast to the world?
This episode focuses on five of the most widely argued questions surrounding the Moon landing hoax theory. From the infamous “waving flag” to the complete absence of stars in lunar photos, Sean, Jorge, and Eric break down each claim and examine the logic behind it. They explore the strange shadows seen in Apollo images, question how astronauts supposedly passed through the Van Allen radiation belts, and take a hard look at whether 1960s technology was truly capable of landing humans on the Moon.
Set against the backdrop of the Cold War, this episode also considers the immense political pressure on the United States to beat the Soviet Union in the Space Race. Was this a genuine scientific achievement, or a perfectly timed piece of global propaganda?
This isn’t just a recap of conspiracy theories—it’s a deep dive into the arguments that have kept this debate alive for decades. Whether you’re a skeptic, a believer, or somewhere in between, Part One sets the stage by breaking down the core claims that fuel one of the biggest mysteries of all time.
Part Two will tackle the strongest evidence supporting that we really did land on the Moon—and attempt to separate fact from fiction.

From the moment the Boeing 777 took off from Kuala Lumpur on March 8, 2014, to the years-long search across the Indian Ocean, this episode covers the complete MH370 timeline, key evidence, and the most discussed theories behind its disappearance.
The boys walk through the critical events of the flight, including the final ACARS transmission, the chilling last words from the cockpit—“All right, good night”—and the moment the transponder was switched off. They break down how MH370 vanished from radar, reappeared on military tracking systems, and ultimately disappeared again, leading investigators to rely heavily on Inmarsat satellite data and the now-famous “handshake” pings that suggested a final path deep into the southern Indian Ocean.
This episode also explores the massive international search effort, one of the most expensive in aviation history, and the limited physical evidence recovered—most notably debris found years later on remote islands like Réunion. Sean, Jorge and Eric explain how ocean drift patterns helped support the southern crash theory while still leaving major questions unanswered.
In the second half, the boys analyze the leading MH370 theories, including the hypoxia “ghost flight” scenario, pilot involvement, mechanical failure, cyber hijacking, and state-sponsored interception. They also touch on lesser-known and controversial theories that continue to circulate online, along with the scrutiny surrounding Captain Zaharie’s flight simulator.

In this episode, we break down the full story behind the Oak Island mystery, starting with the discovery of the Money Pit in 1795 and following it all the way to today. What starts as a simple dig quickly turns into something much bigger—layered wooden platforms, engineered flood tunnels, and just enough real evidence to make you believe there actually is something buried down there.
We walk through the biggest Oak Island treasure theories, including pirate gold, the Knights Templar, hidden British war treasure, and even the idea that the island is protecting something far more valuable than gold. More importantly, we explain why each of these theories exists—and what clues have kept them alive for centuries.

Welcome to the wonderfully absurd world of Birds Aren’t Real—a satirical conspiracy movement that somehow became a cultural phenomenon.
In this episode, we trace the strange and hilarious rise of a prank-turned-parody that began on a whim at a 2017 protest in Memphis, when college student Peter McIndoe held up a sign that simply read: “Birds Aren’t Real.” What followed was an elaborate, years-long performance complete with fake whistleblowers, billboard campaigns, cross-country rallies, and a dedicated fanbase of “bird truthers”—most of whom were entirely in on the joke.
Through a mix of storytelling and real-world absurdity, we explore how the movement became a Gen Z coping mechanism for living in a post-truth world. Part Two begins at the edge of the end.
After nearly seven weeks of stalemate, tension at Mount Carmel was at a breaking point. Negotiations had stalled. David Koresh claimed he was waiting for a divine sign to finish a manuscript that would reveal God’s plan. Federal authorities, running out of patience, approved a tactical endgame.
In the early hours of April 19, 1993, the FBI launched its final operation.
Armored vehicles breached the compound walls. Tear gas was pumped inside in an effort to force residents out. Sporadic gunfire echoed across the Texas prairie. Then, just after noon, fires ignited in multiple locations within the building. Strong winds pushed the flames fast. Within hours, the Mount Carmel compound was gone.
Seventy-six Branch Davidians died, including 25 children. David Koresh was found dead inside.
From that moment on, the tragedy became a battleground of narratives.
Federal investigations concluded that members of the Branch Davidians set the fires themselves in a coordinated act, citing audio recordings, forensic analysis, and survivor testimony. But critics, survivors, and independent investigators challenged that conclusion. Questions surfaced about the use of tear gas, whether armored vehicles caused structural damage that worsened the blaze, and why firefighters were held back during the critical early minutes.
The episode dives deep into the most persistent Waco conspiracy theories: claims of government-started fires, alleged cover-ups, disputed ballistic evidence, and debates over whether the siege violated federal law. It also explores the broader cultural fallout — including how the events at Waco became a rallying cry for anti-government extremism and influenced Timothy McVeigh, who bombed Oklahoma City exactly two years later.
Part Two examines the final hours, the unanswered questions, and why Waco remains one of the most debated government operations in U.S. history.

In 1993, on a patch of quiet Texas land outside Waco, a man who called himself the final prophet of God was preparing for the end of the world.
Before the fire. Before the tanks. Before the siege became a symbol.
David Koresh — born Vernon Wayne Howell — rose from obscurity to lead a small apocalyptic sect known as the Branch Davidians. Charismatic, intense, and obsessed with the Book of Revelation, Koresh convinced his followers that he alone could unlock the Seven Seals and usher in the final days. Inside the Mount Carmel compound, he claimed divine authority — not just spiritually, but personally.
He took “spiritual wives.” Married couples were separated. Teenage girls were reassigned to him under the belief they were helping fulfill prophecy. Former members would later allege sexual relationships with underage girls, all justified through scripture. Parents inside the group believed they were obeying God.
Meanwhile, federal agents were watching.
An ATF investigation into alleged illegal weapons modifications was building. An undercover agent infiltrated the compound. A newspaper exposé titled “The Sinful Messiah” hit the stands. And on February 28, 1993, 76 federal agents rolled toward Mount Carmel in cattle trailers, expecting to serve a warrant.
Within minutes, gunfire erupted.
Four ATF agents would be dead. Six Davidians would die that morning. And what was meant to be a single-day operation would spiral into something far larger.
In Part One, we lay the groundwork — the rise of Koresh, the psychology inside the compound, the warnings that were ignored, and the raid that changed everything.
The siege has only just begun.
