As we enter into as CRAZT HOT WEEK in Northern California ( think triple digits )- Summer has arrived. This episode is the first in the Summer series of Breathing Underwater called “The Summer Refresh”. In this episode Margaux shares 3 reasons for the title Summer Refresh as well as 3 practical ways to intentionally engage with the new physical and spiritual season of summer with a return to simplicity and refreshment in the truth of the Gospel, as God as our first lover and to the foundations of biblical, spirit lead dream interpretation. Here are the practical ways to engage with the reset:

Get a dream journal or a new dream journal. Or create a new folder on your phone.

Set some time apart to go back through the last quarter of your dreams and reflect. Are there any patterns you see in your dream content? Are there any dreams that have been fulfilled? Make a new folder or tag them so they go into a new mental category.

Look at your summer and ask Holy Spirit to help you find a REALISTIC rhythm of time to spend with your dreams. Time to seek out God: "For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened”. Matthew 7:8 Take an honest assessment of your days and set goals that are realistic and life-giving.

Summer brings something different for all of us. For some it’s a winding down, others it’s a ramping up and many have lives that stay the same. But let’s acknowledge the change in season and respond to the newness of it but taking a pause to re-align, re-set and intentionally seek God for His voice in our lives.

Kids and Dreams: How To Help Them Find God's Voice

In Part 2 of the Kids and Dreams series, we continue discussing the importance of engaging with children when it comes to their dream lives and cover practical ways how we can do so. As parents and adults, we can teach children to recognize when and how God is speaking through their dreams by asking the following questions:

What would you title this dream?

-Titling the dream allows them to think about the content of the dream and find language for what the overall meaning might be.

2. What were the emotions felt in the dream? What did it feel like? (Positive, negative)

-Talking through the emotions felt in the dream creates a space for them to process and release what was being brought up or revealed in the dream.

3. What do you think this dream means?

-Children are quick to grasp the meaning of their dreams. Even if they don’t remember everything, they remember what they need to know. Growing the muscle of remembering dreams helps further establish the value for and culture of dreams (last episode) and helps them learn to recognize how God may be speaking to them.

4. Do you think God is speaking? Where is God in this dream?

-Asking this question teaches children to connect to the character of God through their dream life and discover where He was in the dream. Don’t worry about getting the full interpretation - the important this is for them to just get talking!

In this episode we kick off the soul series, specifically talking about and interpreting soul-based dreams. These dreams are often thrown out, mis-judged and valued as “ just “ my heart processing, or “just” my thoughts from the day. Dreams about Death or Dying

In episode 47 we talk about those common dreams that no one likes to have, death dreams. This can mean you dream of a loved one dying, or you watch yourself die, or perhaps someone you don’t know, maybe an animal or pet or something in your care dies in your dream. REMEMBER our dreams are almost always symbolic and this dream is no exception! It never hurts to pray for someone’s safety after a dream like this, and it is always important to ask the Holy Spirit why he gave us that dream. But let’s not get bogged down in fear, let’s look at this metaphorically. Death dreams are most often pointing to something, a season, a mindset, or maybe a career path that is coming to an end. Here are some examples of recent death dreams and their interpretations in this podcast.

This week alone Margaux interpreted close to 10 death dreams, so clearly there is a current pattern of God showing us what needs to be put to death so the NEW can come! God is so good at pruning away what is no longer bearing fruit- he desires we grow and become even more alive and fruitful!

Paying homage to the holiday of Epiphany and the Mystical Magi that came to visit Jesus, Margaux restates a core belief of the podcast. And teaches on the correlation between the Magi of the New Testament ( Luke) and the Magi of the Old Testament (Daniel). We, too are called to follow the signs of God, to plot and track the words and prophecies God gives us, to interpret dreams and record visions and walk in wisdom above the world. The Grifters: Live Interpretation/ Jamie Frey

Enemy, Adversary and how God deals with them. The number thirty-six in Hebrew was written with the letters lamed (authority) and vav (a nail, peg, that which joins, or the conjunction “and”).

In this episode Margaux does a live interpretation with a friend Jamie Frey. Jamie’s dream is an intercessory dream, and while Jamie is an intercessor, she has not had a dream quite like this before. In this dream that she times “The Grifters”, we will see God reveal a spiritual dynamic happening inside the church. He reveals this to Jamie for the purpose of prayer. He will often allow us to see something dark happening in order to get his heart for the situation and pray in line with his will in order to turn it around. Meaning of the number 35: Vindication!

The number thirty-five in Hebrew was written with the letters lamed (authority) and hey, which, at the end of a word, means “what comes from.” The number itself, then, indicates “what comes from authority. When there is an unresolved question or dispute among men, a ruling is necessary from a higher authority. And so thirty-five is the number of vindication.

This episode is short and sweet. Today we start a new “mini- series” building on the discernment series, all about INTERCESSION and INTERCESSION dreams. In this episode we learn the meaning and purpose of intercession, as well as some of its expressions. Oswald Chambers also discusses this concept in the My Utmost for His Highest March 31 reading. "One of the most subtle and illusive burdens God ever places on us as saints is this burden of discernment concerning others."

“He gives us discernment so that we may . . . form the mind of Christ about them (see Philippians 2:5).

“We should intercede . . . to bring God into contact with our minds, that we awaken ourselves to the point where God is able to convey His mind to us regarding the people for whom we intercede.

Worship and intercession must go together; one is impossible without the other. Intercession means raising ourselves up to the point of getting the mind of Christ regarding the person for whom we are praying.”

What a great and glorious honor to carry Gods heart for people and for the world. Perhaps you are already carrying a burden and don’t know that its from God. Perhaps your dreams are speaking about intercession or discerning of spirits with the purpose of interceding for a God- revealed outcome. In episode 34 Brienne and Margaux share their own language and personal experience in attempt to help shed light on a "religious spirit "and "religious abuse". Religious abuse is when religious authority is used to manipulate or control others, through the twisting of scripture or misuse of office and influence. Religious abuse is far too common and can even be found in our own internal belief systems and structures created from our experiences or inherited from our ancestors. Its important we learn to identify when we are being accused or controlled but a religious spirit, shame or religious abuse ( which includes both ) so we can discern and reject in order to rightly know our amazing savior! .

We are all on the journey of more freedom and learning to see God more clearly and truly. There is no judgement or condemnation for you as you identify areas you've been led astray. Our only intention is to name some spiritual dynamics to help you find language for something you may be experiencing and take it to God for further guidance and deliverance.

The Spirit Was First : Genesis 1 Conversation w/ Brandi Haskins

YHWH is the name of God in Hebrew. The sum of the numerical value of the Hebrew letters Y (yod ), H (he), W (waw), H (he), 10+ 5+ 6+ 5 = 26!!! AND if we were to give numerical values to our English alphabet A-Z like 1-26 G= 7, 0=15, D=4 also adds up to 26!!!!! WHA? Lees meer

So the #26 represents God/YHWH.

Also, Strongs #26 is the Greek word : Agape, which is greek for LOVE. It is used in the New Testament 116 times- most seen in the 4th chapter of 1st John.

1 John 4:16 God is LOVE.

This the second episode of The Deep series and we are talking through Genesis 1 it’s references to the deep, to spiritual wisdom and to living with an awareness and reverence for the Unseen realm. This episode is packed full of wisdom and deep thoughts in conversation with Brandi Haskins, a teacher and a student of the Word. Margaux and Brandi explore fact vs. Higher truth, giving weight to our spiritually discerning faculties and the fact that God is Spirit- and God created all things. What is “the Deep”?

The Depths of God : 1 Corinthians 2:10 “these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the DEEP THINGS of God.” The word deep is translated from the Greek which means depth, height: as measured up or down. The deep sea, the deep things of God- thing hidden and above mans scrutiny. Profundity; ie. Extent; mystery

God desires to me known, just as we do. It is painful to misunderstood or judged incorrectly and He invites us to follow the Spirit of God unto the depths of God He reveals.

2. The Deep in us; our deep soul and spirit : Psalm 42 Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls, your waves and your breakers crash over me. This deep is translated from the Hebrew: deep, depths, deep places, abyss, the deep, deep (of subterranean waters). Subterranean means under the earth, under the layers of the surface. This is our deep under the surface places calling out to His.

We partner with fear. We are afraid our dreams mean something bad or mean something we don’t want them to mean.

Truth: our dreams are love letters, every one of them has a message that will bring us closer to God and his heart for us.

We’ve already judged them as nonsense. Truth; wouldn’t the enemy love you to think that. But even though our dreams can feel nonsensical at times, once we give them value and come in humility to learn God’s language, we will find Gods message in every dream.

We get overwhelmed and so don’t even start. Truth; God does not overwhelm us, or expect us to interpret them all at once. He also doesn’t leave it up to use to figure out. We are in a relationship and he is invested in revealing his heart to us. Just be faithful to write down the dreams and ask the Holy Spirit to highlight which one to interpret.

We’re too busy. Too busy to record our dreams and take the time to ask God about them. Truth: Dreams are Gods words and direction for our lives, staying connected to the Word of God for your life will keep us in connection with him and release LIFE into every area. We don’t have to be perfect we just need to make the time .

We think we don’t know how to interpret them Truth: God have these dreams to YOU! He is speaking a language your heart has the ability to understand. You may just need some tools and some help to get the process started! And don’t forget the more you practice the better you get.

If you're new to the podcast one thing we do is talk about the interpretation or the symbolism of different numbers. God speaks to us in metaphor and symbolism and numbers are a way that he does that.

And it just so happens that in the Hebrew alphabet and in Hebrew culture, numbers and dates all really mean something. In fact, every letter of the Hebrew alphabet represents a number.

You might see a number in your dream, or you might be entering into a a hotel room, and you see a number on the door in a dream, or you just consistently run into a number in your waking life. Where, oh, my gosh! I just paid $2 and 22 cents again. Oh, interesting! I just went to to a restaurant and they gave me Number 22 as my number. When you start to see patterns, when you start to see things, repeat, those are little confirmations of God trying to get your attention. It is important that we pay attention to these things, cause God speaks all kinds of ways that are often confounding to our natural mind. So we need to be alive in our spirit. We need to be childlike and curious to catch what God is saying.

Life Abundantly, number 18. The conversation continues about our promises from God. Margaux shares personal experience and scriptural examples of one of the reasons we see our promises tarry. Instead of agreeing with all the lies that shame and disappointment throw at us- lets be wise about what is happening. Perhaps the Word of the Lord is testing you! God gives us promises with the fulfillment in mind, every time, but often he will allow the time in between the giving of the promise and the fulfillment to be a refining fire that brings to the surface all that needs to be dealt with inside of us. He is a kind father who knows what preparation we will need to accomplish what has called us to and to carry the glory of the promise fulfilled.
