Our modern culture is passionate about spreading the message that our truest identity can be found within ourselves. We’re told that who we are has nothing to do with God, but everything to do with us. As we live in the midst of this popular narrative, we need to remind ourselves that our truest identity doesn’t come from within, but from within God’s design for us.
If we want to experience true freedom and confidence in who we are, we must look to our Creator to define us. He is a good and loving Father and has a beautiful design for our femininity. At the end of the day, our greatest joy and purpose doesn’t come from within, but from knowing who we are in Christ, and then living faithfully in that identity for God’s glory.

Ep. 123 - Enjoy this replay. Gender pronouns are all the rage right now. Instagram has even updated their bio feature to include your pronouns as a feature of who you are. Youtube will kick you out if you do not refer to someone by their preferred pronouns. Commercials have resorted to actors verbally communicating their pronouns so that everyone knows who they are.
Guess what? We're not a fan of this movement. We think the issue of pronouns is a big one. We need something more helpful than pronouns. Let's unpack what God's Word has to say and see if we can find lasting answers to the question "Who am I?"

Ep. 119 - I had been planning a home birth since I found out I was pregnant with Audrey. The birth tub was ready to go and I felt mentally and physically prepared. I woke up on December 22nd to the exciting realization that baby girl was COMING. My water was breaking and I knew that meant her arrival was going to happen one way or another.
The next twelve hours went nothing like I had planned. That's because absolutely nothing happened. My water broke... but that was it. No contractions. NO progress. Nothing. I was beginning to feel stressed out. Thankfully my midwife came over and we came up with a plan.
