I don't know how to sum this one up other than by saying that in the scene that could most be called "the one where Michael B Jordan says what the movies themes are" the film unironically goes like 'i didnt carry an M4 in aleppo just to see them carried in the streets of the United States'. A barely-concealed reaction to the Yugoslavian War, and in particular the Bosnian Genocide, this movie shows the president making a speech in which he promises the US will involve itself at the first sign of humanitarian crisis, rather than waiting for international consensus. This prompts a group of communist revanchists (Led by Gary Oldman) to invade and take control of Air Force One, the president's private plane.

the American release for this nearly had the tagline 'there has never been a terrorist attack on American soil', which they got rid of because it seemed like too much of a challenge.

What if you read enough books that you stumbled upon something important? Three Days of the Condor is a movie that asks and answers all of these questions, and we have brought on our producer and true 4th mic, Nate Bethea, to discuss it.
I think it provides a really interesting counterexample to the Bourne Identity. This is on Netflix and I genuinely recommend you watch it for a taste of shitty 1970s New York and Robert Redford dressing like a fucking don in every scene.

I'd only just recovered from the untimely demise of 'the character Sharkey from the movie License to Kill', and now I have to deal with a whole other wave of pain.
