From childhood, we are conditioned to seek. We pursue happiness, love, success, wealth, security, and purpose. We imagine that somewhere in the future exists a circumstance, achievement, relationship, or realization that will finally make us complete.

But what happens when we obtain what we desire and discover that the satisfaction never lasts?

And what happens when we have nothing left to seek?

In this deeply contemplative episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin begins with an original mystical parable, The Man Who Had Nothing Left to Seek, the story of a lifelong seeker who abandons everything in pursuit of truth, only to discover that even spiritual enlightenment can become another object of desire.

Through this story, Kevin invites listeners into an investigation of the human experience, blending ancient self-inquiry with modern neuroscience, psychology, and the Universal Truth.

Why do we seek, and who is the one doing the seeking?

Drawing upon neuroscience, Kevin explores the biological mechanisms underlying motivation, desire, and the construction of personal identity.

Dopamine, often misunderstood as the brain's pleasure chemical, plays an important role in motivation, learning, and reward prediction. Our nervous systems learn to anticipate satisfaction in future circumstances, generating a continuous movement toward what we believe will make us happy.

Yet obtaining the desired outcome rarely ends the movement of desire itself.

Kevin also examines predictive processing, the brain's ongoing interpretation of sensory information through prior experience, conditioning, and expectation. Through this lens, the Universal Truth - Circumstances, Thoughts, Feelings, Actions, and Results - takes on a deeper dimension.

What if the thoughts we believe we are choosing are themselves emerging from an extraordinarily complex biological and psychological system?

    And if tho…

Your heart beats. Your lungs breathe. Your body digests food, repairs cells, and regulates thousands of biological processes without your conscious involvement. Thoughts appear. Emotions arise. Desires emerge. Decisions happen.

And through it all, there is a persistent sense that you are the one making it happen.

    But who is this "you"?

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin takes us into a profound investigation of human existence, free will, and the mysterious nature of consciousness.

For centuries, human beings attributed intention to the natural world. Rivers wanted to flow. Winds chose their direction. Lightning struck because the gods were angry. As scientific understanding developed, we discovered that these phenomena could be explained through natural mechanisms rather than conscious intention.

But what happens when we apply that same investigation to ourselves?

Kevin explores three dimensions of human mechanics - the physical, psychological, and energetic - and challenges one of our most deeply held assumptions: that somewhere inside the human experience exists an independent operator directing it all.

    The Three Mechanical Dimensions

    1. The Physical Machine

The human body is an extraordinarily complex biological system. Genetics, neural activity, hormones, and countless physiological processes operate continuously without conscious instruction. Even voluntary movement raises an intriguing question: Where does the intention to act originate?

    2. The Psychological Machine

Much of what we call personality develops through childhood conditioning, learned associations, emotional experiences, and survival adaptations.

Our fears, desires, reactions, and beliefs often emerge from patterns established long before we became consciously aware of them.

But if our thoughts and emotional reactions arise through conditioning, who is choosing them? And when we …

What if the one you believe is living your life - the one making decisions, taking action, pursuing goals, and seeking freedom - cannot actually be found? Lees meer

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin invites you into a mystical parable titled “The Ferryman Who Never Crossed,” a story that challenges our deepest assumptions about free will, personal identity, consciousness, and the nature of the self.

For decades, an old ferryman has carried travelers between two shores. He knows the river, its currents, its dangers, and the movements required to navigate its waters. He believes, without question, that he is the one directing his boat.

Until a mysterious stranger asks him a simple question:

“Then perhaps you will show me this one who moves your arms.”

What follows is an encounter that quietly dismantles everything the ferryman believes about himself.

Through this parable, Kevin explores the possibility that life unfolds without the separate, independent controller we ordinarily assume ourselves to be. Thoughts arise. Intentions appear. Actions occur. Decisions seem to happen. But where, within this continuous movement of experience, can we actually locate the individual claiming ownership of it all?

Rather than offering another philosophical explanation or spiritual belief system, Kevin guides listeners into direct self-inquiry.

The investigation moves beyond free will into the nature of seeking itself. Why do we continually imagine that happiness, peace, fulfillment, or liberation exists somewhere beyond our present experience? Why does every destination become another starting point? And what happens when the individual seeking freedom is the very individual believed to be imprisoned?

The ferryman's journey becomes an invitation to question the fundamental structure of personal identity.

    Throughout this episode, you'll investigate:

Free Will and the Doer: Can you find the independent individual responsible for your thoughts, intentions, and ac…

For as long as anyone could remember, a magnificent kingdom had been ruled by a wise and powerful king. His authority governed every law, every decision, and every movement throughout the land. The people trusted him. The ministers served him. The soldiers obeyed him. Lees meer

There was only one curious detail.

No one had ever seen the king.

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin Ayo takes you on a mystical journey through an ancient kingdom, seven mysterious chambers, and a throne room containing a secret that threatens everything its people believe about authority, identity, and control.

Through the story of Elias, a young servant sent to deliver a message to an unseen sovereign, we encounter seven chambers representing the foundations upon which we construct our sense of self.

Each chamber reveals another layer of the identity we ordinarily accept without question:

The Chamber of Names: The identities, roles, and labels we mistake for who we are.

The Chamber of Memory: The stories of our past that create the illusion of a continuous personal identity.

The Chamber of Judgment: The endless evaluations of success, failure, worthiness, and inadequacy.

The Chamber of Desire: The pursuit of fulfillment through possessions, relationships, achievement, and even spiritual awakening.

The Hall of Mirrors: The countless reflections of ourselves that we attempt to improve, defend, or escape.

The Chamber of the Fountain: The spontaneous movement of life that continues without our conscious instruction.

The Chamber of Silence: The subtle persistence of the seeker, even when everything else becomes still.

    And beyond these seven chambers?

    An empty throne.

But this episode is not simply a story about an absent king. It is an invitation to investigate one of the most fundamental assumptions of human existence:

Is there actually someone inside you making your decisions?

We ordinarily say, "I think," "I choose," "I decide," and "I control." Yet when we examin…

What if everything you have ever known has been illuminated by something you have never actually seen? Lees meer

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin tells the story of an old scholar who has carried a lantern for as long as he can remember. With its light, the scholar investigates the world. He studies plants, animals, stones, rivers, stars, and eventually becomes known as one of the wisest men in the region.

Then one day, a child asks him a question he cannot answer:

    What is the light?

The question follows the scholar for years.

He studies the flame. He studies the oil, the wick, the glass, the eye, shadows, colors, and everything else associated with illumination. He becomes perhaps the world's greatest expert on his lantern.

But has he discovered the light itself?

This parable becomes the foundation for a deeper investigation into consciousness, being, knowledge, and ultimately death.

Human beings are extraordinarily skilled at investigating what appears. We study the body and the brain. We observe thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, atoms, planets, and galaxies. We name things, categorize them, measure them, describe them, and eventually declare that we know them.

But there is another question hiding beneath every investigation:

What makes knowing possible in the first place?

    Every thought is known.

    Every sensation is known.

    Every memory is known.

Every belief about yourself is known.

Even your ideas about consciousness, death, darkness, and nothingness are known.

    So what is knowing?

And what happens when being attempts to imagine non-being?

We commonly imagine death as darkness, emptiness, silence, or nothingness. Yet each of these remains an experience appearing within consciousness. Even imagined nothingness is known.

This creates the central paradox of the episode:

    Can being know non-being?

This isn't an argument for immortality or a theory about what happens after death. It's something far more immediate.

    Right now,…

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin tells the story of a village built around a great lake. Every morning, the villagers arrive carrying vessels of different shapes, sizes, ages, and qualities. They lower those vessels into the same lake, fill them with water, and carry them home.

    Over generations, something strange happens.

The villagers forget about the lake.

Instead, they become obsessed with the vessels.

They decorate them. Compare them. Judge them. Protect them. Build identities around them. Eventually, they begin speaking about the water inside as if it belongs to the vessel.

    My water.

    Your water.

    His water.

    Her water.

Until one day, a boy drops his vessel and watches it shatter.

What follows is a simple encounter with an old woman that begins dismantling everything the boy believes about the vessel, the water, and the apparent boundary between them.

And from there, the inquiry turns toward us.

We spend our lives counting vessels: bodies, personalities, histories, identities, successes, failures, relationships, beliefs, wounds, accomplishments, and names. We call one vessel “me” and everything beyond it “not me.”

But what exactly creates that division?

    The body clearly has boundaries.

    Does consciousness?

    Where does awareness end?

Where does the observer end and the observed begin?

And can you actually locate the separate entity claiming ownership of experience?

This episode is not an invitation to adopt another spiritual belief. Kevin isn't asking you to believe that “everything is one,” that “you are consciousness,” or even that there is no separate self.

Those would simply become more ideas.

Instead, this episode invites you into direct inquiry.

The vessel gives water an apparent boundary - but does that boundary actually belong to the water?

    What are you? Lees meer

A human being? A body? A personality? A collection of memories, experiences, beliefs, and conditioning?

Perhaps you’ve gone deeper than that. Perhaps you would say you are awareness. Consciousness. The witness. The observer. The presence in which everything appears.

    But how do you know?

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin takes the inquiry one step beyond the familiar spiritual answers and into a much more unsettling possibility:

You cannot know what you are.

Everything you ordinarily call “me” can be known.

Your name is known. Your history is known. Your memories are known. Your personality, thoughts, emotions, sensations, desires, fears, and beliefs are all known. Even the body itself appears as something experienced.

    So what knows them?

And before the mind answers “consciousness,” “awareness,” “the Self,” “God,” or “the witness,” the inquiry goes deeper:

    How do you know that?

Because the moment an answer appears, that answer is known too.

Using the analogy of a knife that can cut anything except itself, Kevin explores the fundamental limitation hidden within our search for self-knowledge. Knowledge works beautifully when there is something to be known. But can the knower ever become its own object? Can that which knows experience step outside itself, turn around, and know itself in the same way it knows a thought, sensation, body, or tree?

Perhaps the problem isn’t that you haven’t found the correct answer.

Perhaps the problem is the assumption that there must be an answer at all.

This episode challenges not only ordinary identity but spiritual identity as well. “I am consciousness” may be a more sophisticated answer than “I am my personality,” but it can still become another belief - another concept the mind possesses and another identity it protects.

    The invitation here is different.

    Don’t believe.

    Don’t conclude.

    Look.

And when the mind finally arrives at the words it has spent a lifetime avoiding - I don’t…

    Not once.

That statement sounds absurd. You can see the room around you. You can hear sounds. You can feel your body. You can touch the objects in front of you. Surely, all of that proves that you are experiencing a world outside of yourself.

But in this episode, we aren't interested in what seems obvious. We aren't interested in philosophy, belief, or another explanation of reality.

    We're going to look.

Before the mind says tree, what is actually present?

Before the mind says bird, what is actually heard?

Before the mind says my hand, what is actually felt?

Sight appears. Sound appears. Sensation appears. Thought appears. And somehow, all of it is known.

From there, the investigation becomes far more unsettling.

Where exactly is this experience happening?

We assume there is a person located somewhere inside the body - perhaps behind the eyes - looking outward at an external world. There is "me" in here and everything else out there.

But can you actually find that boundary in your direct experience?

And if experience is happening to you, can you find the one experiencing it?

    The body is known.

    Thought is known.

    Emotion is known.

    Memory is known.

Your personality, history, beliefs, fears, desires, successes, failures, and even the feeling I am here are all known.

    So where is the knower?

This episode continues the inquiry begun through the analogy of the sky, weather, and umbrella. Thoughts, emotions, circumstances, fears, and desires are weather. The mind attempts to control that weather with its umbrella.

But we aren't trying to improve the weather anymore.

    We're investigating the sky.

And eventually, even the sky must be abandoned as another concept.

Because the mind has one final hiding place: the witness.

Perhaps you aren't the body or the thoughts. Perhaps you are awareness - the observer witnessing everything.

But if you can say, I am awareness, isn't that statement itself known?

What if you have spent your entire life trying to control the weather - without realizing that you were never the person standing beneath it? Lees meer

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin takes us through a simple but profound analogy: the sky, the weather, and the umbrella.

The sky represents unity - the unmoved, unchanged, undivided reality of what you are.

The weather represents duality: pleasure and pain, success and failure, fear and desire, happiness and sadness, gain and loss. Everything that appears, changes, and eventually disappears.

    And the umbrella?

The umbrella represents everything we use in an attempt to protect ourselves from the weather: money, relationships, success, certainty, knowledge, planning, spirituality, control, and even the belief in free will.

There is nothing wrong with the umbrella.

And there is nothing wrong with getting wet.

The problem begins when we believe we must remain dry in order to be okay.

From there, life becomes an endless attempt to predict and control the weather. Desire tells us something about the present moment needs to change. Fear tells us something about the present moment must not change. And caught between the two, we attempt to construct a life secure enough to guarantee that unwanted weather never arrives.

But no umbrella can make that promise.

You can own the umbrella and forget it at home. You can check the forecast and still get caught in the rain. You can make every “right” decision and still encounter circumstances you never anticipated.

This raises an even deeper question:

Who is actually controlling any of this?

When a thought appears telling you to bring the umbrella, did you choose that thought before it appeared? Did you choose the memories, conditioning, fears, desires, circumstances, and experiences that produced it?

And if you cannot find the independent chooser, who exactly is claiming ownership of the choice?

What if almost everything you believe about yourself begins with a single assumption you have never seriously investigated? Lees meer

    I am this body.

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin takes us directly into one of the most fundamental inquiries possible: What exactly makes this body “me”?

If I am the body, then I was born. I will age. I occupy a particular location in space. I exist for a limited period of time. And eventually, I will die. From this identification comes an entire psychological structure built around survival, security, pleasure, possession, comparison, control, desire, and fear.

But before accepting everything that follows from the assumption, perhaps we should investigate the assumption itself.

The body can be perceived. Thoughts can be perceived. Emotions, memories, desires, fears, sensations, identities, and even the feeling of being an individual can all be observed. So Kevin asks a deceptively simple question:

If it can be perceived, can it actually be the perceiver?

This episode moves beyond philosophy and belief into direct inquiry. Rather than offering another spiritual concept to adopt, Kevin challenges you to investigate your immediate experience.

    What was actually born?

    What is afraid of death?

Where are you, other than here?

When are you, other than now?

Can you locate the one who claims to be controlling your life?

And what remains when everything you can observe is recognized as something appearing within experience rather than as what you fundamentally are?

The investigation extends into desire and fear - the two movements that create so much psychological suffering. Desire demands that reality become something other than what it is. Fear demands that reality not become something we imagine it could become. Both depend upon a person projected through psychological time: a person constructed from memory, conditioning, identity, expectation, and story.

It seems obvious. You decide what to eat. You decide where to go. You decide whether to stay or leave. You decide to stand up, pick up your phone, build a business, enter a relationship, or change the direction of your life.

    But look closer.

Before the decision appeared, did you decide to have the impulse that produced it? Before the thought appeared, did you choose the thought? Before you chose what you wanted, did you choose the desire itself?

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin takes the investigation into free will, control, and manifestation beneath philosophy and into direct experience. Rather than offering another belief about whether human beings possess free will, he asks you to look for the one who supposedly possesses it.

The inquiry begins with an extraordinarily simple experiment: sit still, and whenever you decide, stand up.

    Then investigate.

    What actually initiated the movement?

Did thought command the body? Did an impulse arise first? Did you decide when the decision would occur? And if you decided to decide, what caused that decision?

From there, the investigation moves into the neuroscience of voluntary action, the spontaneous appearance of thought, conditioning, desire, fear, responsibility, and our deeply rooted assumption that somewhere inside the body exists an independent controller directing the course of life.

But the episode doesn't conclude that free will exists - or that it doesn't.

Both conclusions may simply become new beliefs.

Instead, Kevin asks a more fundamental question:

    Can you find the chooser?

This changes the investigation of control completely.

Perhaps what we call control is actually influence. You can plant a seed, water the soil, and provide sunlight - but can you command the seed to grow? You can build a business, train your body, pursue a relationship, and make decisions - but can you control all the conditions determining the outcome?

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin takes the investigation of Truth into one of the most fundamental structures of the human mind: knowledge itself.

From the moment we learn language, we begin attaching sounds and symbols to reality. Someone points toward an object and says tree. Someone points toward your body and repeatedly makes the sound that becomes your name. Eventually, these associations become so automatic that we stop seeing them as learned concepts and begin experiencing them as reality.

But the word is not the thing.

And the description of you is not you.

This episode examines how language, memory, identity, desire, and fear combine to construct the psychological world we ordinarily call my life. Names become identities. Experiences become stories. Temporary events become permanent conclusions: I failed becomes I am a failure. I experienced rejection becomes I am unwanted. A living human being becomes an accumulation of words.

    Then the investigation goes deeper.

Almost everything we claim to know about ourselves comes from memory - and memory belongs to the past. Our names were learned. Our beliefs were learned. Our definitions of success and failure were learned. Even our ideas about who we are were accumulated through experience and conditioning.

So what are you right now, without referring to any of it?

Kevin explores the relationship between psychological time, desire, and fear. Desire appears to reach toward the future, but it can only desire from what is already known. The past supplies the material, and the mind projects it forward. Fear operates similarly: it takes memories, concepts, images, and previous experiences and projects them into an unknown future.

Desire says, I want this to happen.

Fear says, I don't want this to happen.

    Meanwhile, neither is happening now.

This leads to the central inquiry of the episode: W…

What if it begins the moment the mind says, “This shouldn’t be happening”?

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin invites you into a direct investigation of one of the most persistent mechanisms of the human mind: resistance.

Life includes pain. Relationships change. Bodies age. Businesses fail. People leave. Money comes and goes. Plans fall apart. People we love die. None of this is being denied, minimized, or spiritually bypassed.

But pain and suffering are not necessarily the same thing.

There is what happens - and then there is what the mind says about what happens.

    Reality says, “This happened.”

The mind says, “This should not have happened.”

And in the distance between those two statements, suffering begins.

Throughout this episode, Kevin examines the subtle ways we argue with reality through words like should, shouldn’t, must, and fair. We create an imaginary version of life, compare it with what is actually happening, and then demand that reality conform to the image in our minds.

But reality never signed that contract.

This investigation moves beyond the simplistic idea that acceptance means becoming passive, indifferent, or unwilling to act. Acceptance does not mean staying in a burning building. It does not mean tolerating abuse, ignoring financial problems, abandoning boundaries, or pretending painful experiences do not hurt.

Acceptance means seeing what is actually here clearly enough to respond without first requiring reality to be different.

And then the investigation goes deeper.

If resistance is happening, who exactly is resisting?

When a thought appears - “I don’t want this,” “This shouldn’t be happening,” “I need to fix this” - did you choose that thought? Did you construct it deliberately? Or did it simply appear?

What about the emotion that followed it?

What about the physical contraction in the body?

Rather than examining behavior alone, this conversation asks a far more fundamental question: Who is it that is addicted?

Through the lens of self-inquiry, Kevin invites listeners to look beneath the symptoms and investigate the psychological structure that gives rise to every craving, compulsion, and repetitive pattern. Is addiction really about the object we pursue, or is it about the story we continually tell ourselves about who we are?

This episode explores how identity is built through memory, belief, and narrative, and why the mind works so tirelessly to preserve that identity - even when doing so creates suffering. Along the way, Kevin examines the hidden attachments behind productivity, achievement, victimhood, spiritual seeking, discipline, and even recovery itself, revealing how the ego can adopt countless disguises while remaining fundamentally unchanged.

Rather than offering another strategy for self-improvement, this conversation points toward something much deeper. It challenges the assumption that freedom comes from becoming a better version of yourself and instead asks whether the self you are trying to improve exists in the way you've always assumed.

If you've struggled with addiction, compulsive behavior, emotional suffering, or the endless search for "the next thing" that will finally make you whole, this episode offers a profoundly different perspective. Instead of fighting symptoms, you'll be invited to investigate the root.

In this deeply personal and philosophical episode, Kevin invites listeners into the most profound investigation he has ever shared—not an exploration of what to believe, but of whether belief itself can ever reveal what is ultimately true. This isn't a conversation about adopting another philosophy, joining another movement, or improving yourself. It's an invitation to question everything you have assumed about who you are and the world you inhabit.

Most of us spend our lives searching for certainty. We chase success, relationships, confidence, purpose, and even spirituality, believing that fulfillment lies just beyond the next achievement. Yet every destination gives way to another horizon, every answer creates another question, and every identity eventually changes. What if the problem isn't that you haven't found enough answers? What if the problem is believing that truth can be possessed at all?

Drawing from years of coaching, direct inquiry, and self-investigation, Kevin explores the difference between survival and truth, between belief and direct experience, and between the constantly changing contents of the mind and the awareness that witnesses them. Along the way, he challenges listeners to investigate some of the deepest assumptions we carry about identity, thought, memory, religion, politics, success, failure, and even the separate self we spend our lives trying to improve.

Rather than offering conclusions, this episode offers questions - questions designed not to strengthen the ego but to expose it. If thoughts arise on their own, are you the thinker? If emotions come and go, are you your emotions? If every role, belief, opinion, and memory changes over time, what is it that has remained present through every experience of your life?

For thousands of years humanity has searched for enlightenment, awakening, salvation, healing, and liberation. We meditate, study sacred texts, adopt spiritual practices, and spend years trying to become a better version of ourselves. But beneath every one of those pursuits lies a question so familiar that few of us ever stop to examine it:

Who, exactly, is it that awakens?

In this deeply investigative episode, Kevin challenges one of the most fundamental assumptions in spirituality - that the separate self, the personality, the "program," can somehow evolve into enlightenment. Rather than offering another philosophy or belief system, this conversation invites you into direct inquiry, asking you to look beyond concepts and examine your own experience.

Through powerful analogies - the movie screen and the film, a lighter and its flame, weather moving across the sky, children building sandcastles beside the ocean, and the ever-changing dance of thoughts and emotions - you'll be invited to question the nature of identity itself. If thoughts are observed, emotions are observed, memories are observed, and even the sense of "I" can be observed... what is it that is doing the observing?

This episode explores why the mind is endlessly searching for certainty and how that search often becomes the greatest obstacle to genuine investigation. It examines how the program continually reinvents itself - whether through success, self-improvement, religion, psychology, or even spirituality - and why awakening may have nothing to do with improving the program at all.

We spend our lives chasing certainty. Lees meer

We want certainty that we've chosen the right career, the right relationship, the right spiritual path. We want certainty that our beliefs are true, our decisions are correct, and our future is secure. We assume that if we could just become certain enough, we would finally experience peace.

But what if certainty isn't the destination?

In this episode, we investigate one of the deepest assumptions of the human mind: the belief that certainty is necessary for freedom. Rather than arguing for or against certainty, this conversation follows the spirit of direct inquiry. Together, we slow down and examine what certainty actually is - not as an idea or philosophy, but as something that can be found in immediate experience.

Along the way, you'll be invited to question where certainty comes from. Is it discovered through direct knowing, or is it simply information that has been repeated until it hardened into belief? How do ideas become identities? And what happens when the mind mistakes inherited concepts for unquestionable truth?

This investigation explores the relationship between certainty, faith, belief, identity, and fundamentalism - not only in religion, but in politics, science, spirituality, culture, and even non-duality itself. When investigation ends and certainty takes over, curiosity disappears. The mind no longer explores reality; it begins defending conclusions.

Perhaps the opposite of faith is not doubt, but certainty.

Faith remains open. Faith walks without guarantees. Faith allows mystery to remain mystery. Certainty seeks to close the door, replacing investigation with conclusions. But does that create freedom - or simply stronger attachment to thought?

As the inquiry deepens, the focus shifts away from certainty itself and toward the one claiming to possess it. Who is certain? Can the one who says, "I know," actually be found in direct experience? Or are there only thoughts claiming ownership of other though…

Most of us assume that silence is a problem to solve. We believe every blank page needs words, every question deserves an answer, and every teacher must always have another lesson ready to deliver. But what if that assumption is the very thing standing between us and Truth?

In this deeply personal episode, Kevin begins with an unexpected confession: he sat down to record this podcast with nothing prepared and nothing that genuinely wanted to be said. Rather than forcing another teaching, he turns his attention toward the discomfort itself and asks a far more important question:

Who is the one who believes something needs to be taught?

From that single investigation unfolds a profound exploration into identity, awareness, creativity, and the illusion of the individual.

This is not a conversation about becoming a better person. It is an invitation to examine whether the person we spend our lives trying to improve actually exists in the way we imagine. Instead of pursuing transformation, Kevin challenges listeners to investigate the one seeking transformation. Instead of collecting new ideas, he asks us to look directly at present experience.

Throughout the episode, familiar assumptions begin to dissolve. Are you your body? Your thoughts? Your emotions? Your memories? Who is the one claiming ownership of experience? Where does inspiration actually come from? And is creativity something we manufacture, or does it naturally emerge when the imagined author finally steps aside?

Using practical examples from everyday life, powerful analogies such as the movie screen and the rope mistaken for a snake, and the timeless practice of direct self-inquiry, this conversation points toward a radically simple realization: awareness has never been absent. It is the one constant beneath every thought, every emotion, every success, every failure, every beginning, and every ending.

Most people never question the answer. They inherit a name, receive a birth certificate, are assigned an identity, and spend the rest of their lives protecting someone they have never actually investigated. Society requires individuals to function. Governments, banks, healthcare systems, schools, employers, and every institution rely upon names, numbers, documents, and identities. But does that mean the individual actually exists?

In this episode, Kevin invites listeners into one of the deepest inquiries explored on the podcast to date. Building on previous discussions surrounding consciousness, the body, and the breath, he examines the hidden assumption at the center of nearly every human life: the unquestioned belief that there is a separate person living inside the experience.

Rather than presenting another philosophy or belief system, this conversation becomes an invitation to investigate direct experience. What can actually be found? Is there truly an individual separate from the body, the breath, and consciousness? Or is the person nothing more than a useful concept created for navigating society?

Throughout the episode, Kevin explores the relationship between legal identity and lived reality, questioning everything from birth certificates and passports to social security numbers, nationality, personality, and personal history. He demonstrates how labels may be necessary for civilization while simultaneously revealing that usefulness should never be mistaken for truth.

Listeners will discover why suffering is not created by pain itself, but by the psychological ownership of experience. There is sadness - but must there be "someone" who is sad? There is fear - but where is the owner of that fear? As this investigation unfolds, familiar assumptions begin to loosen, revealing a radically different way of understanding identity, responsibility, and freedom.

    Consciousness.

    Matter.

Through a blend of direct inquiry, contemplative observation, and practical examples, Kevin examines the relationship between awareness and form, the role of breath as the bridge between them, and why nearly every spiritual tradition eventually points toward the same fundamental truth.

Along the way, he reinterprets the ancient symbolism of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through the lens of direct experience, explores the tantric polarity between consciousness and matter, and investigates how relationships reveal the illusion of separation that creates suffering.

But the heart of this episode lies in a deeper question:

Who is actually having the experience?

Most people assume they are the body, the mind, the personality, or the collection of memories they call a life. Yet when these assumptions are carefully examined, something surprising emerges. The body changes. Thoughts change.

Emotions change. Circumstances change. Identities change.

    What remains?

What is present before thought arrives and claims ownership?

What is aware of every experience without ever becoming the experience itself?

Many seekers arrive at profound realizations. They discover they are not their thoughts, not their emotions, not their identities, and not the stories they've spent years defending. They begin to see through the illusion of the separate self and recognize the witnessing awareness that remains unchanged beneath every experience.

    This realization is liberating.

But it can also become a trap.

Because once we discover that we are not the character, the mind often asks a new question: "If I'm not the character, why should I participate at all?" Why build a business? Why pursue a relationship? Why create? Why serve? Why care?

These questions sound spiritual, but they often conceal a misunderstanding.

The purpose of awakening is not to remove you from life. The purpose of awakening is to remove your attachment to life.

In this conversation, Kevin examines the difference between spiritual realization and spiritual bypassing. We explore how the ego can hide inside spiritual concepts, using ideas such as "there is no self," "nothing matters," and "everything is already perfect" as excuses for withdrawal, avoidance, and inaction.

Using examples from business, relationships, purpose, and service, he explains why conscious participation is the natural expression of true freedom. The awakened man does not leave the game. He learns how to play the game without becoming trapped by it.

Kevin also explores the dream analogy, lucid dreaming, the role of the witness, and why many spiritual teachings stop too soon - teaching people how to wake up without teaching them how to live after awakening.

At first glance, the answer appears obvious. Biology tells us the autonomic nervous system takes over. The body breathes whether we consciously choose to or not. But what if that explanation only describes the mechanism and not the mystery?

This conversation moves far beyond physiology and into a direct investigation of consciousness itself.

Why can human beings intentionally damage the body in countless ways, yet remain unable to simply decide to stop breathing forever? What intelligence overrides conscious will? What force continues choosing life when the mind attempts to choose otherwise?

Kevin examines the possibility that breath is more than a biological function. Drawing from ancient wisdom traditions, contemplative philosophy, mysticism, and direct observation, he explores the idea that breath may be the bridge between the visible and the invisible - the interface through which consciousness animates the human experience.

Along the way, he investigates the relationship between awareness and identity, the body and the self, the dream and the dreamer. From yogic teachings and indigenous traditions to the linguistic mysteries surrounding ancient spiritual texts, this episode challenges listeners to reconsider assumptions about who they are and what it means to be alive.

The discussion also revisits one of Kevin's favorite themes: the dream analogy.

This is not a discussion about clinical labels. It is an inquiry into the moments when ambition fades, meaning evaporates, and the fuel that once drove your life no longer seems to work.

What happens when the goals that once inspired you stop inspiring you?

What happens when success no longer tastes the way you imagined it would?

What happens when the identity you've spent years building begins to crack?

Drawing from personal experience, spiritual inquiry, coaching, philosophy, and lessons learned on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, Kevin investigates the possibility that depression may not always be a sign that something is wrong. Sometimes it may be evidence that something old is dying.

This episode examines the difference between motivation and meaning, the exhaustion of chasing future fulfillment, and the grief that emerges when our deepest assumptions about life begin to fall apart. Beneath all of them lies something far more fundamental — the fear created by identification itself. The fear of being “someone.” The fear of psychological death. The fear of emptiness. The fear of discovering that the identity you’ve spent your entire life protecting may not actually be who you are.

Drawing from the Model of Alignment, non-dual philosophy, contemplative traditions, and direct self-inquiry, Kevin dismantles the illusion of egoic identity and reveals how most human suffering is created through unconscious attachment to thought, memory, conditioning, and psychological self-image.

Throughout the episode, he explores the deeper mechanics of consciousness and asks the question that sits beneath every human life:

    What am I?

This episode challenges the listener to move beyond performance-based self-improvement and into direct observation of the self. This is not a conversation about computers, artificial intelligence, or Hollywood science fiction. This is a philosophical and spiritual exploration into the nature of consciousness itself. Kevin proposes a radical idea: that infinite consciousness voluntarily created limitation in order to experience contrast, emotion, identity, challenge, suffering, love, and awakening.

Because without limitation, there is no experience.

Drawing parallels between dreaming, manifestation, quantum theory, lucid awareness, and ancient mystical traditions, this episode dives into the possibility that physical reality may function much more like a dream than we realize - a stable, shared dream governed by consistent rules and shaped through consciousness itself.

Why do dreams feel real while we’re inside them?

Why does consciousness continue when the body sleeps?

Why do synchronicities, intuition, déjà vu, and profound spiritual experiences seem to pierce through ordinary reality?

And why are more people than ever beginning to question the nature of existence itself?

Kevin explores the idea that dreaming may be the “Easter egg” left inside the human experience - the clue reminding us that consciousness exists beyond the avatar, beyond the body, and beyond the illusion of separation.

This episode also reframes manifestation in a grounded and psychologically coherent way. Building on last week’s conversation around money and abundance, this episode moves beyond tactics, strategies, and surface-level mindset work and into something much deeper: the nature of truth, perception, and the illusion of limitation.

Kevin explores the ancient spiritual idea that human beings are not merely the body, the personality, or the conditioned identity moving through the world, but the awareness behind it all - the observer, the witness, the “white page” upon which the story of life is being written. Through stories, analogies, Buddhist parables, and practical self-inquiry, he challenges listeners to question the deeply conditioned beliefs that create suffering, fear, hesitation, and scarcity.

Using the famous Buddhist parable of the burning house, Kevin examines how the distractions of the world keep people trapped inside illusion while simultaneously pointing toward liberation through self-knowledge. He explains how most men are unconsciously identified with the “program” running inside them - a collection of memories, fears, emotional conditioning, and inherited beliefs - and how this unconscious identification shapes their relationship with wealth, success, and possibility.

This episode breaks down the three primary ways limitation reveals itself in daily life:

    Reactions

    Hesitations

    Justifications

Kevin explains how each of these patterns exposes hidden beliefs about safety, worthiness, risk, and identity. Rather than teaching listeners to “manifest” wealth through force or positive thinking, he offers a different path: removing distortion. Seeing clearly. Questioning the stories that have never been examined. Awakening inside the dream rather than remaining trapped inside unconsciousness.

And why most men remain trapped financially, not because they lack opportunity, but because they are unknowingly creating from inherited patterns, fear, scarcity, and conditioning.

Through powerful analogies involving dreams, holograms, projection, and self-knowledge, this episode explores the deeper mechanics of wealth and how true abundance emerges from alignment rather than force. You’ll hear why effort alone cannot create expansion, why thoughts themselves are not truth, and why the external world only mirrors what is happening internally.

At the center of this conversation is a concept most men believe they already have - but don’t: brotherhood.

Not friendship. Not networking. Not surface-level accountability. Kevin introduces something far deeper - a satsang: a council of men committed not to validating each other’s stories, but to dissolving them. A space where ego is not protected, but revealed. Where blind spots are no longer hidden, but reflected back with precision, compassion, and truth.

Because alone, a man will always protect his patterns. He will justify his limitations. He will build a life that makes sense - but doesn’t feel right.

Inside the right brotherhood, that changes.

This episode explores the foundation of that transformation: simplicity, clarity, and peace. Not as abstract ideas, but as both the cause and the result of aligned living. Kevin explains how complexity is not a sign of advancement, but misalignment - and how true clarity doesn’t come from outside information, but from removing internal distortion. What remains is a grounded certainty. A self-trust that doesn’t depend on circumstance.

This is not about minimalism, productivity systems, or removing distractions from your external world. This is about something much deeper. Ontological simplicity - the simplicity of what you are.

Most men are not lacking intelligence, discipline, or success. What they lack is clarity. And that lack of clarity comes from identification with complexity - the mind, the past, the conditioning, the identity. We are taught that growth comes from addition: more knowledge, more tools, more control. But in this episode, Kevin challenges that premise completely.

Truth is not found through addition. Truth is revealed through subtraction.

What if nothing in your life needs to be added?

What if everything you’ve been searching for is already here?

What if the only thing in the way… is the complexity you’ve identified with?

Kevin breaks down the illusion of identity and explains how the mind - built on conditioning, memory, and belief - creates instability by constantly changing and contradicting itself. When you believe you are your thoughts, your emotions, your past, or your goals, you lose yourself in something inherently unstable.

But there is something that does not change.

Through direct insight, this episode guides you toward recognizing the one constant: awareness itself. The witness. The observer. The part of you that sees your thoughts, your body, and your experiences - but is not any of them.

    This is where simplicity lives.

This episode is not about learning a new concept or building a better system. It is about seeing clearly. It is about recognizing the difference between what changes and what does not. It is about stepping out of the program - not by force, but by observation.

That belief is this: your life is being caused by something outside of you.

Your past. Your circumstances. Other people.

In this episode, we dismantle that belief at its foundation.

Most men operate from what can be called horizontal causality - the idea that life unfolds in a sequence across time, where one event causes another, and your current experience is the result of everything that came before it. It’s the lens through which men explain their emotions, their behaviors, and their lives. “I feel this way because of that.” “I am like this because of my past.”

But when you slow down and look directly, something begins to break. Where is the past? You cannot touch it, see it, or experience it. It exists only as a thought in the present moment. The same is true of the future - it is nothing more than projection and imagination.

Which means the entire structure of time - and the causality built upon it - is not what you think it is.

From there, we move into a deeper understanding: vertical causality.

Instead of asking what caused this in the past, we ask what is making this possible right now. This shift reveals that everything in your experience is being sustained in this moment by a deeper foundation - something that does not depend on anything else. A true first cause.

And that first cause is not external. It is not an event, and it is not something that happened long ago.

    It is your awareness.

Everything you experience - your thoughts, your emotions, your body, your perception of the world - appears within consciousness. You have never experienced anything outside of it, because without awareness, there is no experience at all.

In this episode, Kevin invites listeners into a deep philosophical and spiritual investigation using a powerful analogy: the dream state. Most of us have experienced dreams that felt incredibly real while we were inside them. In those dreams, we have a body, emotions, fears, desires, and experiences that appear meaningful and urgent. We interact with people, move through environments, and believe the events unfolding around us are truly happening. Yet the moment we wake up, the entire dream collapses. The world disappears, the characters vanish, and we realize that the entire experience existed only within consciousness.

Using this familiar experience as a starting point, Kevin begins to explore a profound question: what if the waking world operates through the same fundamental mechanism as the dream world?

Throughout the episode, Kevin carefully guides listeners through the distinction between the content of experience and the awareness that observes it. In a dream, there are two elements: the dream itself - the characters, events, and environments - and the awareness that witnesses the dream. The dream unfolds within consciousness, but consciousness itself remains untouched by the events within it.

Kevin then turns this same lens toward waking life.

In our daily experience, we also have a “character” we identify with: a body, a personality, a name, a history, preferences, fears, ambitions, and emotions. This character moves through the world and believes it is living a life. But just like the dream character, this identity can be observed. We can observe our thoughts, notice our emotions, witness our reactions, and reflect on our stories and beliefs.

And if something can be observed, Kevin suggests, it cannot be what we fundamentally are.

I begin by guiding you through a short moment of inquiry: if your eyes are not truly “seeing” and your brain is only predicting what it expects based on the past, then what is it that is actually perceiving the world?

To explore that question, I introduce what I call the three layers of the not-self - the layers through which consciousness is filtered in our human experience.

The first layer is the physical layer, the body and the five senses. This is the most obvious filter and the one most people believe themselves to be.

The second layer is the mental layer - the film of conditioning, identity, beliefs, and past experiences. This is the narrative we tell ourselves about who we are and how the world works.

The third layer is the energetic layer, the subtle field that influences how we feel around others and how we are drawn into certain relationships and experiences. Frameworks like Human Design, astrology, and other energetic systems help describe this layer.

To bring all of this together, I offer the movie projector analogy.

    Imagine a projector in a theater…

In this episode, I’m sharing the real reason I traveled to Tanzania and trekked to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro - the roof of Africa. Lees meer

This wasn’t a fitness goal. It wasn’t a bucket-list flex. It was a spiritual pilgrimage rooted in a story that began decades ago, back when my identity was water polo and I wore “U.S. youth team” and “junior national team” like a second skin. There was another athlete from Oregon on those teams - Jeff. We trained together, competed internationally together, and even became rivals during high school season. That kind of brotherhood doesn’t disappear.

After college, Jeff chose to travel. He was offered the chance to summit Kilimanjaro. On the way to the gates, the bus taking the group went over a cliff and everyone died. Jeff never even reached the mountain. When I heard the news, something locked in: one day, I would climb that mountain.

Life moved forward. Military. Fitness. Building businesses. Years went by. And then, twenty-five years later, while volunteering in hospice with terminally ill patients, one woman - lucid in her final days - looked at me and said, “Jeff came to see me.” Then she delivered the message that hit like lightning: “It’s time for you to summit the mountain.” When she said “Kilimanjaro,” I knew the time had arrived.

So once Tribe Class 003 completed in December 2025, I began planning. In late January I flew to Tanzania, adjusted to the jet lag, and started the trek. And before I tell you anything else, I want to honor the people who made it possible: for 12 clients, it took 42 porters, guides, chefs, and staff carrying tents, food, tables, chairs, toilets - building camp, breaking camp, and running past us every single day to set everything up again. Respect. Gratitude. Always.

Twelve of us began. Three of us reached the summit. One man had to be airlifted out. Another suffered such severe altitude sickness he forgot who he was for 36 hours.

The mountain was both hard and easy.

In this final interview of the Tribe Graduate series, I sit down with Dustin Poole, the only Manifestor graduate from Tribe Class 003, and brother… this one hits deep. Dustin’s story is powerful because it’s not just a transformation story. It’s a full awakening story. The kind of shift that changes the way you see your past, your relationships, your body, and reality itself. Lees meer

Dustin found this work at a crossroads. After ten years of marriage, two daughters, and a life built around the identity of “husband” and “father,” everything began to collapse. Divorce became the catalyst. And like so many men, his mind tried to reach for the familiar answer: more muscle, more women, more external wins. The old idea of “alpha” as performance. But deep down, Dustin already knew time wouldn’t fix it. He had seen too many people stay miserable for decades, thinking distance alone would heal the wound.

What made Dustin different is that he was already a seeker. He grew up overseas in a Muslim world while being raised Christian, and early on he felt the conflict between love and dogma, between truth and ideology. He couldn’t accept the idea that loving people could be condemned simply for believing differently. That friction became the doorway into a deeper spiritual question: why are we here, what is existence, and what is this experience of being human?

Inside the Academy, Dustin began doing what every man must do to wake up: he watched. He listened. He observed himself. He saw patterns. And he realized the same truth every awakened man eventually finds: our circumstances aren’t creating our suffering - our thoughts are. Over and over again, he saw that the “problem” was never the divorce, the relationship, the social dynamic, the job, or the outcome. The problem was the story. The meaning. The program. The victim mindset.

As Dustin explains in this episode, the single most impactful teaching across his two years in this work was learning the difference between a thought and…

In this powerful return interview, Kevin sits down again with Bob Lincoln, a graduate of Tribe Class 001, to explore what happens when spiritual awakening stops being a concept and becomes an actual lived experience. Bob first joined the Alpha Male Coach community after years of searching for answers in dating advice, business mentorship, and surface-level self-improvement. But when he heard Kevin speak on another podcast, something deeper activated inside him. He couldn’t fully explain it at the time - he didn’t even understand all the words - but he knew it was real. It spoke to his soul. Lees meer

Now, years later, Bob returns to the show to share what changed, how the work continued to unfold, and why he chose to go through Tribe again with Class 003, this time in a mentor role. Bob explains how Tribe began as a coach certification course, but evolved into something much bigger - a true brotherhood where men can reveal their inner programming, speak openly, and hold space for each other without judgment.

One of the most relatable parts of this conversation is Bob’s honesty about what happens when life gets busy. Business, relationships, family, and responsibility can pull you away from the deeper work. Bob shares how he slowly drifted from the calls, started making excuses, and began feeling the return of old patterns: disconnection, suffering, and the familiar “lost” feeling. But what brought him back wasn’t pressure - it was that quiet voice inside saying, “Stop avoiding. Reconnect.”

And what he discovered when he returned was exactly what every man fears and hopes for at the same time: no rejection, no judgment, no punishment - only welcome. That alone becomes its own healing. Bob breaks down the deeper truth behind avoidance and explains how self-judgment creates the illusion of separation, and how community becomes the container where men remember who they are.

The conversation then moves into the deepest part of the episode: Bob’s experience at the recent Mexic…

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin sits down with Curtis McKee, a recent graduate from Class 003 of the Tribe, for a grounded, powerful conversation about what real change actually looks like. Curtis is a traveling boilermaker from Canada, spending long stretches of time working remote camp jobs across northern British Columbia and Alberta, and he brings a rare combination of blue-collar practicality and deep inner development to the table. Lees meer

Curtis shares how his journey began with a single concept that hit him so hard he had to pull his truck over on the highway just to absorb it: buffering. Not the surface-level distractions themselves, but the deeper reason men reach for them. Like many men, Curtis thought he could numb stress and frustration with a drink or a dopamine hit, but he kept finding the same truth - it never works. And what shocked him most wasn’t just that buffering was happening, but that no one had ever taught him how the mind actually functions.

This episode dives into the difference between trying to control the external world and learning to control what you actually have power over: your internal experience. Curtis explains how mind management gave him something he hadn’t felt in years - stability, clarity, and choice. Not because life became easier, but because he became more conscious. He describes a shift from drifting through life to taking ownership of his thoughts, emotions, and decisions, using the Model of Alignment to label what’s happening inside and create intentional change.

Kevin and Curtis also unpack something most men don’t realize until later in life: this work must be taught, and it must be practiced. You don’t just listen to a podcast and get fixed. You don’t read one book and suddenly become unstoppable. Real transformation requires repetition, feedback, coaching, and community. In this interview-season episode of the Alpha Male Coach Podcast, I sit down with a brother who’s close to my heart: Salu “Lu” Smith - a fellow Projector, a long-time student in the Academy, a graduate of Tribe Class 002, and a mentor who returned to support Tribe Class 003. This is not a surface-level conversation about tactics, dominance, or performance. This is an initiation story. A seven-year transformation. A real example of what happens when a man stops outsourcing his power and starts listening to the voice inside him that already knows the truth.

Lou takes us back to the beginning: 2018 in California, a relationship that exposed the “nice guy” conditioning, and the pressure he felt to become harder, stronger, more masculine - not from alignment, but from insecurity. Like a lot of men, he got pulled into the mainstream “alpha male” content and the idea that being an alpha was about getting women, gaining status, and proving something. But underneath that drive was something deeper: a craving to finally feel enough.

That search eventually brought him to this podcast and to the Model of Alignment - the simple but life-changing understanding that your circumstances don’t create your results… your thoughts do. Lou shares how he would come in and out of coaching at first, trying to “figure it out” on his own, until life humbled him into a deeper commitment. And that commitment became the turning point: not because the answers were outside of him, but because having a coach helped him see what he couldn’t yet see in himself.

We go deep on what it really means to invest in your inner world - especially when money fear, doubt, and ego resistance rise up. Lou explains how the leap always feels risky in the moment, but once the decision is made, reality starts rearranging around it. The money figures itself out. The mind quiets down. The path opens.

Josh’s journey begins in a place many men will recognize. On the outside, life looked successful: business ownership, family, responsibility, momentum. But internally, something felt incomplete. Despite appearing confident, Josh shares that much of what he projected was a persona rather than an embodied truth. A quiet dissatisfaction, particularly around confidence and relationships, eventually led him to search for answers. That search brought him first to the Alpha Male Coach website, then to the podcast, and finally into the deeper work of the Academy and Tribe.

What unfolds in this interview is not a story of quick fixes or surface-level transformation. Instead, Josh articulates the difference between chasing external validation and cultivating internal alignment. He explains how confidence is not created through appearance, status, or approval, but through remembering one’s own completeness. As Josh describes it, the shift happens when a man stops trying to become something and starts getting back in alignment with who he already is.

Throughout the conversation, Kevin and Josh explore what the work actually looks like in practice. Daily models of alignment, consistent self-inquiry, meditation, and a willingness to do what the mind resists are all part of the process. Josh speaks candidly about how challenging it can be to hold intention day after day, especially when life continues to unfold with its usual demands. Yet it is precisely this sustained commitment that led to profound changes in his relationships, leadership style, emotional stability, and overall sense of joy.

In this episode, Kevin opens the year with a powerful transmission on relationships, masculinity, and what it truly means to live - and love - from the Alpha state. This is not a dating tactics episode. It’s a foundational teaching on consciousness, polarity, and why relationships exist in the first place. Lees meer

Kevin begins by grounding the listener in Universal Truth: circumstances are neutral, out of our control in the moment, and separate from the meaning we assign to them. From there, he revisits the Model of Alignment and the beta condition - automatic thought-feeling-action loops that shape our experience of reality. This sets the stage for a deeper exploration of how relationships, especially with women, act as mirrors for our inner world.

As the episode unfolds, Kevin introduces the three worlds framework: the outer world of circumstance, the inner world of thought and emotion, and the energetic world that subtly governs how we move through life. He explains how most men try to navigate relationships from the bottom up - seeking validation, approval, or completion - while remaining unconscious of the deeper energetic and intentional forces at play.

From a top-down perspective rooted in unity consciousness, relationships are reframed entirely. They are not about getting something, fixing someone, or proving worth. They are the universe loving itself awake through form. Every approach, conversation, attraction, and conflict becomes an invitation to notice where we are still operating from ego, identity, and conditioning.

Kevin explores the masks men often wear in dating and relationships: the savior, the wise sage, the wounded hero, the chameleon. These personas may work temporarily, but they ultimately collapse because they are rooted in separation rather than truth. When the mask falls, the relationship reveals what is actually being worked through - unmet needs, unexamined beliefs, and unconscious patterns seeking awareness.

This episode sets the tone for what’s coming next. As Kevin prepares to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, upcoming episodes will feature conversations with brothers who have completed the Tribe coach certification and graduated through the Academy. These men represent living examples of what happens when awakening stops being an abstract idea and becomes a lived, practical experience.

At the heart of this episode is a reset to fundamentals. Kevin breaks down awakening not as a mystical or “woo” concept, but as a grounded, functional process for becoming more effective in life, relationships, and purpose. Awakening, as he frames it, is not about becoming something new - it’s about remembering who you already are beneath conditioning.

The episode introduces the Alpha/Beta framework and clarifies the Beta condition as a mental program: conditioned thought patterns shaped by upbringing, culture, biology, and repetition. This program filters reality, creating fear, doubt, and reactivity. The Alpha state, by contrast, is the observer - the one who watches the program, rewrites it when necessary, and restores proper cause-and-effect in life.

Using the Model of Alignment, Kevin explains how thoughts create feelings, feelings drive actions, and actions produce results - and why separating thoughts from facts is the first and most essential step in reclaiming authority over your life. When the outer world stops being the cause of your inner world, you move from reaction to intention, from victimhood to authorship.

Welcome to 2026, brothers. Lees meer

This episode is a return to the foundations. A reset. A reorientation to what this work has always been about.

As we move into a new year, it’s easy to get pulled toward advanced concepts, elevated language, and high-level spiritual ideas. But real mastery doesn’t begin at the top. It begins at the beginning. And in this episode, we go back to the core principles of cognitive mastery, awakening, and the Alpha State.

At the heart of this conversation is a simple but profound framework: the three worlds. The outer world, the inner world, and the energetic world.

The outer world is the physical world. It’s the world we all share. Bodies, money, relationships, environments, circumstances, results. It is neutral. It is dense. It is obvious. Science understands this world well because it is observable and measurable.

The inner world is the mental world. Your thoughts. Your feelings. Your narratives. Your conditioning. This world is private. No one has access to it but you. And yet, this inner world is the cause of how you experience the outer world. Your thoughts generate feelings. Feelings drive actions. Actions create results. And those results reinforce the thoughts. This is the universal truth. This is the Model of Alignment.

The energetic world is the most subtle of all. It’s your aura. Your spiritual blueprint. The field you move through and leave behind as you interact with people, places, money, opportunity, and life itself. Most men have very little conscious access to this layer, not because it isn’t real, but because it is quiet. Subtle. Working behind the scenes.

In this episode, I explain how all three of these worlds are happening simultaneously. They are not separate. They are integrated into one unified human experience. And above all three is the Alpha State. The watcher. Consciousness itself. The unified awareness that sees all three worlds clearly without being trapped inside any of them.

This is an episode about awakening, but not awakening as mythology, fantasy, or spiritual spectacle. This is awakening as presence. Awakening as now. Lees meer

Kevin introduces The Brotherhood, a new entry-level community designed as the starting point for men ready to do this work. Not someday. Not when life slows down. But right here, in the middle of ordinary life. The Brotherhood is where fundamentals are restored: separating thoughts from facts, recognizing the beta condition, learning to observe the mind instead of being consumed by it, and returning again and again to the present moment. This episode explains why group coaching, witnessed awareness, and shared observation are some of the most powerful accelerators of real transformation.

From there, the episode deepens. Kevin explores the question that has driven seekers, mystics, and philosophers across history: What is it? Drawing from lived experience, not dogma, he unpacks what teachers across traditions have pointed toward when they say “everything is love.” Not love as emotion, sensation, or sentiment - but love as unity, consciousness, and the underlying force animating all things. Light and shadow, fear and desire, form and formlessness are not opposites to be eliminated but movements within the same field.

A central theme of the episode is presence. Kevin dismantles the idea that enlightenment is dramatic or supernatural. There is no transfiguration, no escape from life, no removal from the human experience. Awakening is simply remembering. Being here. Watching yourself think instead of being trapped inside thought. Observing perception instead of naming and categorizing reality. Presence is enlightenment, and enlightenment is ava…

In this powerful episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin takes you deep into the core confusion of the human condition: the hallucination of separation. Broadcasting from the Yucatán, Kevin explores why your consciousness feels different depending on your environment, why “I” is the most misunderstood word in the human language, and how the illusion of being a separate ego is the root of all suffering. Kevin opens by distinguishing monism - the experiential recognition that all is one - from the far more common dualistic worldview most humans live in without question. He breaks down how the ego creates a false center of identity, a shadow-self imagined as a commander behind the eyes, and how this hallucination leads to fear, conflict, resistance, and misalignment across every dimension of life.

Drawing on wisdom from Alan Watts, spiritual psychology, and his own Alpha philosophy, Kevin reframes humanity’s relationship to nature, purpose, money, and each other. You are not an isolated observer placed “into” the world, he argues - you emerged from the world, just like an apple emerges from an apple tree. You are not a stranger in an indifferent universe; you are the universe becoming aware of itself.

    This episode explores:

Why the ego believes “I am in here and the world is out there,” and why this premise is false

How the belief in separation leads to fear, anxiety, loneliness, and conflict

What monism reveals about your relationship to nature, your purpose, your emotions, and other humans

Why artificial intelligence is not consciousness, not intelligence, and never will be

How your environment is an extension of your body, not something separate from you

How shifting from dualism to unity transforms your thoughts, emotions, actions, and results through the Model of Alignment

Broadcasting from Tulum, Mexico, Kevin opens with reflections on the land, the energy, and the sense of peace that reconnects him to a timeless part of himself. From that grounded presence, he pivots into the core teaching of today’s episode: what happens when two awakening beings encounter one another in relationship. Lees meer

Kevin explains the fundamental distinction between beta relationships - rooted in lack, need, codependency, and the ego’s belief in incompleteness - and alpha relationships, which arise from wholeness, recognition, and conscious connection. Most people aren’t falling in love, he explains; they’re falling into need. They’re entering relationships trying to fill a void within themselves. Two half-filled cups pouring into each other, emptying and refilling, never realizing the fullness must first come from within.

But when two alphas meet - two awakening individuals who know who they are, who have remembered their true nature - everything changes. Alphas do not need each other. And it is the absence of need that creates the presence of true freedom, genuine intimacy, effortless communication, and deep mutual respect.

Kevin reveals how awakened communication differs from ego communication: alphas aren’t defending positions, playing games, or seeking validation. They’re playing, exploring, listening, and learning from each other. They can fully disagree without conflict because neither identifies with the mind or its opinions. Silence becomes meaningful. Differences become invitations to expand. Mystery becomes celebrated rather than controlled.

In this episode of The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, we nerd all the way out on one of the deepest truths of your spiritual journey: time is always now. Brother, we go right into the heart of what it means to live in a “limited reality” and why your true power only exists in the present moment. Lees meer

I start by introducing The Brotherhood, a new program coming in January 2026 that serves as a half-step into the Academy for Consciousness Expansion - a place for you to step into community, coaching, the Model of Alignment, and eliminating buffering from your life. From there, we move straight into the here and now: why the past and future only exist in perception, why time and space are illusions, and how your consciousness is always operating in the eternal present.

We explore monism: there is no separation between inner and outer, mind and body, you and your environment. Your consciousness and your environment are one unified hologram. That means reincarnation is not some linear “next life” in the future - it’s about lessons, games, and the spiritual journey. Your consciousness can incarnate “forward” or “backward” in historical time, because it’s all the same eternal now.

To ground this, we dive into Star Wars - Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon Jinn, Yoda, and the living Force - as metaphors for your awakening. Being “mindful of the future” is useful, but not at the expense of the moment. When your mind is trapped in anxiety about the future or guilt about the past, you lose access to the Force. You lose access to action.

So I give you a five-step practical process to return to the now and reclaim your power over flesh:

Pause & Elevate Your Alpha – Stop and observe your mind. Where is your consciousness - past, future, or present?

Run a Model of Alignment – Put it on paper, in a notebook, on your phone, or even using a tool like ChatGPT. Get your model out of your head so you can see your conditioning.

In this powerful continuation from last week’s episode, Kevin expands the analogy of life as a game and reveals why psychological warfare isn’t just a tactic used by others - it is the structure of the game itself. In a world made of energy, narrative, repetition, and belief, the true battlefield is not physical but cognitive. And the antidote - the only antidote - is cognitive mastery. Lees meer

Kevin begins by reframing the physical world as the byproduct, the “spice,” of a deeper energetic and consciousness-based reality. While life appears to unfold in space and time, the real game is psychological, and the pieces on the board are narratives, information, perception, and belief. From the Age of Aquarius to the accelerated revelation of truth, Kevin explains how modern culture exposes its mechanisms everywhere - from Hollywood films to the news cycle to the design of the systems we live in.

He revisits the illusory truth effect, a cognitive phenomenon proven by research showing that anything repeated often enough - true or false - becomes “truer” simply through familiarity. That repeated exposure forms neural pathways which harden into beliefs, even when later evidence contradicts them. And without cognitive mastery, the C-line of your model becomes an open gate, allowing the world to write your T-line for you.

To show how deep this goes, Kevin walks through three pillars of the matrix: government, religion, and corporations. Using bold, historically grounded examples, he demonstrates how narratives become mass conditioning. From the Gulf of Tonkin to the JFK assassination, he illustrates how national stories shape perception long after their factual foundations have fallen away. He compares modern political and media structures to The Hunger Games, cautioning listeners not to confuse narrative with lived reality.

From there, he shifts to religion - particularly the Abrahamic traditions - discussing how language, translation, withheld information, and ideological fram…

Kevin opens by expanding the lens beyond personal development and into cosmic context, exploring the Age of Aquarius and the global awakening happening across humanity. He ties ancient mythology, spiritual epochs, and modern scientific insights - like the neutrino field and information exchange - to illustrate how the energetics of consciousness are shifting. You’ll hear how matter is information, how narratives shape perception, and how every human being is immersed in a world of competing realities.

From there, Kevin breaks down the first reality: the Matrix - the collective consciousness, the ideological environment, the propaganda machine, the psychological warfare apparatus. Whether it’s politics, religion, media, economics, or social structures, every component of the Matrix pushes a narrative, shaping how you interpret the glass of water on the table. He reveals how “microcosms of manipulated reality” exist everywhere - from Oregon to Florida to across the globe - and how traveling allows you to step outside your environment long enough to recognize its influence. The Matrix isn’t evil, and it isn’t escapable - it’s a human habitat. Your power comes from seeing it clearly.

    14 november 2025 · 44 min

    Afspelen
In this episode, we dive deeper into the spiritual evolution that shapes our human experience - and we use one of the most charged pillars of the Matrix to explore it: money. Last week, we introduced the three spiritual phases every human is moving through: life is happening to me, life is happening for me, and life is happening through me. Today, we ground those concepts into the energetic reality of wealth, value, and the monetary system. Lees meer

We begin with the foundational state nearly all humans enter by default - the victim consciousness. This is the “to me” stage. In this mindset, money appears scarce, threatening, and overwhelming. It sounds like:

    “Money is evil.”

    “The system is corrupt.”

    “I can’t get ahead.”

    “Life is unfair.”

“I work and work and have nothing to show.”

This perspective fuels fear, comparison, resentment, and existential dread about the future. The glass is always half-empty; there is never enough; life feels oppressive. We are born into this phase - spiritually and biologically - and many never move beyond it. Yet every moment of financial stress, scarcity, and fear is not punishment but feedback, calling us into awareness and growth.

From here, we transition into the second phase: life is happening for me. This is the shift from victim to victor — not because circumstances change first, but because perception changes. The external remains neutral, like a glass of water sitting on a table. The illusion dissolves, and we realize we are not powerless. We begin to choose our thinking, choose our energy, and choose how we relate to money.

Thoughts like “Money is opportunity,” “I get to use money,” and “Money allows me to serve and create” generate ease, empowerment, and abundance. The glass becomes half-full. With this expanded consciousness, actions shift, energy rises, and results follow. Money becomes a tool - not an enemy - and life begins to respond.

Finally, we explore the rarest phase - the “through me” state of consciousness. At th…

For years, you've heard the foundational teaching: the movement from life is happening to me to life is happening for me. This is the fundamental awakening - the transition from victim consciousness to empowered creator consciousness. It’s the moment the lights come on in the mind.
