  1. Season 4 Episode 1: Getting back to the mission

    26 oktober 2026 · 54 min

Season four begins with Elizabeth Obrey, Tara Holcomb, Cynthia Burington and Dawn Rethman discussing the changes coming to the podcast. Lees meer

The podcast mourns the passing of a founding member, Kerra Kutz, who lost her battle with cancer on the last day of June 2026. Kerra’s contributions and influence are remembered.

Mary Snelson and Heather Woodring stepped away from the microphones at the end of season three. Both are heavily involved with organizations that contribute to the autism community. Mary serves on the Board of Directors for SWI Industrial Solutions and is a merchandise manager at The Boutique, which employs individuals with disabilities. Heather serves on the board of NOVA Center of the Ozarks and continues writing about her son on Everyday Adventures with Zachary on Facebook. While their voices will be missed on this podcast, they are still serving the community.

Despite the changes, the mission remains. There is value in autism parents sharing their stories and having conversations with those who serve us. Season 4 will have fewer episodes dropping. We want to get into the community more and hear more voices other than the remaining four of us.

Another change to be noted is the addition of an intern, Savanah Allen. She is the daughter of Dr. Seth Allen with the Burrell Autism Clinic and Brooke Allen, BCBA. We welcome her help in carrying out the mission of the podcast.
